These annoying ice creatures are loyal to the ice woman who is called Princess Snow Kaguya. When the ice woman appears on Earth again, she blows wind out of her mouth and the wind forms into the Snow Dancers. Those creatures attack the people on Earth by freezing them. Sailor Venus and the others attack a Snow Dancer and the creature still fights even when parts of its snowy anatomy fall off. Sailor Mars manages to defeat it. Usagi and Chibi Usa manage to confuse one of the Snow Dancers. The creature performs several tricks after Usagi and Chibi Usa transform into their sailor soldier forms. Santa appears, but he reveals that he is really Tuxedo Mask in disguise. Sailor Moon performs her Moon Spiral Heart Attack maneuver to defeat the Snow Dancer. The ice then begins to melt. The Snow Dancers and their queen are later defeated by the Silver Crystal Power.
The name Snow Dancer comprises two English words. In the Materials Collection, the Snow Dancers have the name 
yuki no odoriko-tachi, which means dancers of snow. According to Japanese volume 11 of the manga, the shape of the Snow Dancers came from an antique sculpture of a dancing woman that Naoko Takeuchi liked. The sculpture was apparently made by a German porcelain company.
