There is a special section called the Sr Senshi Hissatsu Waza Dai Hyakka (Big List of Sailor Soldier Fatal Maneuvers) in this book that shows the names of the main characters' special powers. Each soldier has her own epithet. On page 45 of that book, Sailor Mars has been called the hon no senshi, which means, "soldier of flame."

Sailor Mars manipulates fire mainly because one of the Japanese names for the planet Mars, Kasei, means, "fire star."
