- Person (People) from Grimm (Griem) < Gurmu-seijin>: This show mentions fairy tales and stories.  It also mentions Hameln (the German name of the town Hamelin).  Gurmu exhibits a mosaic of features that are common to Gurimu as an approximation of the surname Grimm.  Hameln is famous for the folk tale of The Pied Piper of Hamelin.  The Brothers Grimm wrote a version of that story.  It seems that the surname Grimm is relevant to this show.  Although Grimm’s Fairy Tails is often rendered in Japanese as Gurimu-dwa, and Brothers Grimm is often rendered in Japanese as Gurimu-kydai, variants such as Gurmu-dwa and Gurmu-kydai can be found.  Gurmu may be another way to approximate Grimm.  (That would be like how Furi can be a another way to approximate fly even though furai is often used to approximate the English word.)  Gurmu may be an error for Gurimu, or it may be an alteration of Gurimu (as an approximation of Grimm).  If one wanted to alter Grimm (a German name) to make it look like the i is long, he or she could use the German spelling Griem (which an be approximated by Gurmu).  Griem is a surname, but it can be used as an alteration of Grimm that looks similar to Grimm.  Gurmu can approximate gleam, but gleam does not seem to be relevant.
