- Ms. Sawai and Ms. Azama write their personal names with the same two kanji: 
. However, the furigana characters for Ms. Sawai’s personal name are

- Some people tend to write “Jedite,” “Neflite,” and “Zoicite.” Merchandise that is associated with the English-dubbed version of Sailor Moon shows the “Jedite” spelling, but it is pretty clear that Ms. Takeuchi meant to refer to the name of the mineral Jadeite. As far as the live-action version is concerned, the spellings “Jadeite,” “Nephrite,” “Zoisite,” and “Kunzite” are the most parsimonious spellings for now. We would not find a particularly good reason to think that the creators of the live-action show intended to use mangled versions of “Jadeite,” “Nephrite,” “Zoisite,” and “Kunzite.”
