Update - Jay Navok

Live Action Sailor Moon update (Episode 11 preview + news)

No picture at the official homepage when I did the update so here's a generic mooning from Act 10.

The episode 11 preview went up at the official Live Action Sailor Moon page Last week's diary entry for Venus remains absent.

Hearing from Luna that the "Princess" is from the moon and Usagi and her fellow senshi are from the moon as well, Usagi is in a state of unrest. Until now the other soldiers had fought alongside her only after coming to the decision that there was no other path but to fight.

Around this time the popular idol Aino Minako is hospitalized- she was in a traffic accident. Yet the accident was no 'accident' - it was in fact the result of Zoisite's trickery, as he has begun to wonder whether this "Aino Minako" might not be Sailor V's true identity.

Usagi, being a huge fan of Minako, upon hearing the news [of the accident] decides along with Makoto that they ought to go visit her; and the two of them sneak into the hospital. Ami, Rei, and Luna are shocked at the [audacity] of those two, yet are more interested in something they found mentioned on the internet; the "Star Festival."

The phrase "The Star Festival; Moon and Mars and Mercury and Jupiter will all gather and the guest is V!" suggests to the trio that Sailor V may be connected with the sailor senshi.  Aino Minako, still in the hospital, has received the information [of this festival] as well. While she is sneaking out of the hospital she unexpectedly meets Usagi and Makoto [. . .]

Who needs continuity when we've got madcap hijinks afoot? I sure don't!

Brief update for those who have preordered the live action Sailor Moon full soundtrack CD that was supposed to come out on the 17th- it ain't happening for now. As SailorJupiter244 pointed out in our forums, as have other sites, it seems the CD has been delayed. There is another CD coming out in January, though, which is apparently going to be an image song compilation disc. (Think Maiden's Poem Collection but probably without the poems.)

My version of Kaguya hime- When the crazy one-inch-tall man cut open the bamboo he found inside a little Chisaki who had been nibbling away at her birth plant, like a panda. Unfortunately Chisakis require a great deal of sustenance for their growth and well being, so the man was forced to send her to the moon where she could spend her days feasting upon mochi pounding rabbits. He did not miss her at all.

Credit goes to Starcat for this next heads up: the Gemini Project Page over at Heavy Cat has had a big update- this is the "stay tuned" they mentioned a few days ago.

Heavy Cat Multimedia is prepared to begin immediate work on a prototype game (one complete level) while we continue negotiations. This is becoming increasingly necessary, because the schedule is certain to become a problem once again if we experience too many delays.

However, should licensing negotiations stall again, there is an almost certain possibility we will have to postpone the Gemini Project indefinitely.

There are a couple other things discussed at that page so if you're interested in their Sailor Moon videogame project you ought to take a look at it. My question is- so when do I get to play this demo? Hmm...?

The last SM game to come out was that "Chibiusa in Happyworld" nonsense for the PSX a couple years ago and I don't think a single sane person bought that. (Not because of Chibiusa, of course, but because... what the hell kind of game is "Character X in Happyworld"?)
