Update - Jay Navok

Live Action Sailor Moon update (Episode 6 preview, diaries)

Try as she might to stop herself, a few seconds after this picture was taken, Hama Chisaki tried to eat one of Usagi's odango.

The episode 6 preview is up at the official Live Action Sailor Moon page and its here too... now.

But first, there's been an update to the "Princess Room" part of the Sailor Moon channel site. A few comments from Takeuchi kick it off:

Hey everyone, hello!

Have you been watching the live action series? I get to see each episode almost two episodes before they air, so I'm feeling really special. I'm also getting very excited because the amount of original stories are increasing, and its a lot of fun even for "Princess." [She means her.] Will it really take until December for Venus to appear?! Keep looking forward to the show!

Anyway, today's Princess Room update is a continuation of the Q&A we started last month. I know there are a lot of kanji, but please do your best in reading it. By the way, the third volume of the new manga releases is now on sale. Currently I'm doing the work for volumes 5 and 6. Make sure you see these as well!

Update 11/9 Thanks to Claudia for helping to clear some of this up!

The rest of the update consists of interviews with Shibue Jyoji (Tuxedo Mask) and Han Keiko (Luna) and I'll hopefully have parts translated later in the week.

Now for the episode preview:

Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars have already become the ideal sailor soldiers. When the last senshi appears, they'll be able to unite their powers and find both the Princess and the legendary Ginzuishou.

At Usagi's school a basketball champion, "Two Tall Takeru" has become quite popular with the girls. Usagi's best friend Naru is in a daze over him as well. One day, just like any other, she goes to watch him play. Around that same time, a new exchange student is arriving. Her name: Kino Makoto. The students around the school are gossiping that she fought a lot in her previous school and was kicked out of it, so she had to come to theirs. She joins the same class as Usagi, but while the other girls are afraid of her boyish manner, Usagi (and only Usagi) comes close to her and tries to become her friend. Usagi manages to open the door to her heart and learns that the girl has been alone all her life, having lost her parents when she was very young, and she has supported herself by this [tough girl] attitude.

While being with Makoto, Usagi notices something odd... could Makoto like Takeru as well?

In the meantime Luna has not suspected that Makoto could be the fourth senshi. But the crescent moon on her forehead begins to glow partially. What on earth could this mean? And at that very moment, Makoto receives a letter from Takeru...

There are two updates in the diaries for November so far, Moon and Mars.

Sailor Moon:

Wooow, its already November... but for this time of the year its unusually warm. What's with the weather this season.... could... could it be... a youma's attack?! Everyone!! Take caution as to not be attacked by this youma!!

OK I'LL DO THAT THANKS FOR THE WARNING.

Sailor Mars:

Today for the first time in my life I went to a live concert! It was a concert given by Shigemura Asami who's a fellow member of the agency I belong to. It was done in the style of 70's music and I was really moved by it. One day I'd like to try doing a live concert myself.

Thanks to Sasha for help clearing up the terminology on 70's music.

At the bottom of those diary pages they put comments from people who sent in letters via the "message board." These two were too cute not to translate:

"Yuumi-chan" (5 years old, girl, from Mieken)

Rei-chan is very cute. When I grow up I want to have my hair very long and be just like Rei-chan. Please keep doing your best!

"Sai-chan" (4 years old, girl, from Hokkaido)

Sai [kids refer to themselves in the third person sometimes] really loves Sailor Mars a lot. Because when I see her on TV she is the cutest and the coolest. Please keep doing more with her. [Literally: Please make her involved with more activities] I'd love it if Mars replied to me. I'll be waiting for it.

From Sai (written by her father)

Hmm I wonder if it was really from Sai, or if her 助平 dad is using her as a cover.
