Action Sailor Moon update (Episode 1 Play-By-Play)

Sailor Moon Episode One. Act One

We see a full moon and hear an alarm bell ringing. A dark
suited man passes by. We see glimpses of broken glass cases and empty jewelry
cases in a Jewelry store. The man runs. He drops two items. They are two
rings, one with a red jewel and a thick oval one. We see a close up of him, he
comes out of the shadows and trees are behind him. It is Tuxedo Kamen. Around
his neck is a red thread with a medallion under his white bow. He has his
stick under his right arm. A woman in a familiar pose stands on a levitated
walkway in front of the moon. Pan up from her ankle to reveal Sailor V. She is
holding a crescent moon near her mask. She removes the moon from its position
and leaps down. Tuxedo runs forward. They came at each other in midair and a
bright blue light shines between them. Sailor V lands on her feet. She turns
around and presents her crescent moon now on her bow. Tuxedo is bent down and
gazes at her in resentment. He slowly gets up, tending to his wound. A smile
runs across her face and she wags her finger at him. He lets go of his wound
and comes forward with his stick. Sailor V raises her right arm in the air and
charges toward him. Tuxedo does the same. She does cartwheels. She slashes his
case with her crescent moon. She does about four cartwheels. She stops, turns
around as he stops. She makes her ‘V’ pose and jewelry falls out of his
case. He looks down at the jewelry. He is angry and throws the case down. We
hear a police siren. He races off and she chases him with her arms on her
side.
Fade from white. Zoom out from a large yellow-tinted full
moon to reveal a navy blue star-filled sky. The moon goes to the left and
becomes crescent. Features that made it look like the true moon turn full
yellow. The title logo comes from the lower right and glows. The background
changes from navy blue to pink to orange. Sailor Moon races across the logo
from right to left. Luna hops from the top left to the moon to the right, out
of the screen. Three white lights run across the screen from the right. Then
the screen has four blue lines, three thin white lines and a thick white line
on the bottom. It reveals to be Sailor Moon’s outfit backside. It is just
the sailor top, bow, and skirt on white background. Zoom out and Sailor Moon
fully appears, still showing her back. She is a dreamy cloud place. She turns
around as the other Senshi appear.
Theater positions are used to describe where the Senshi
where positioned. Venus with her right arm on her waist and left arm pointing
at the center left. Jupiter is laying down up right at center center. Mercury
spins around in front between Venus and Jupiter. Mars, turns her head from
right to left profile positioned at front right.
Sailor Moon’s credit title: Usagi goes into her room,
waves hi to us, and runs to a bag at her desk. Usagi is wearing a white, red,
and pink stripped short-sleeve dress with a white-collar long-sleeves shirt
underneath and long white socks. A little pink silhouette of her sailor-self
dances in her hands. The screen becomes pink then fades to white to reveal
Sailor Moon. Zoom in to a medium shot. She winks and gives a thumb up.
Sailor Mercury’s credit title: Zoom in to a coffee shop
outside where Ami sits down at a table. Ami is wearing a baize short sleeve
blouse. She sips a coffee cup and opens a book to reveal a little blue sailor
silhouette. Sailor Mercury appears with her right hand to her face and her
left arm away. A blue background is behind her with water ripples around.
Sailor Mars’ credit title: Rei wonders around a jinja,
touching tress in a long-sleeve fuchsia shirt. A little red sailor silhouette
drops in both of her hands. Sailor Mars has both hands on her hips and she
then flips her hair with her right hand. The background is red and has flames
moving. [It looks more like aluminum.]
Sailor Jupiter’s credit title: Mokoto pitches a
baseball, holds her baseball glove up and a small green sailor silhouette
dances in her glove. She is wearing a navy baseball cap, an open navy jacket
with white stripes, and a red shirt underneath. Jupiter has her arms folder
and the background is green with discs floating around.
Sailor Venus’ credit title: Minako comes out of limo, a
fan hands her flowers, fans crowd her and she has the flowers in her left arm.
An orange sailor silhouette dances in her right hand open palm. Minako is
wearing a white long-sleeved jacket with a pink zipper shirt underneath. Venus
has her right hand on her cheek and left arm on her waist. The background is
orange with starlight spinning around. She pulls her right hand away.
The girls (from left to right: Makoto, Minako, Usagi,
Rei, and Ami) in their school uniforms are having a good time on the train,
sitting on a big red cushion.
Sailor Moon brightly lit from the front at night. She
sings along to the song on the line, ‘Yori kuchibiru.’ We see the sailor
quartet slowly rotating in a circle. Turning from Venus to Jupiter, Jupiter
sings, ‘Ai Biimu…’ Then it rapidly goes from Mars to Mercury, Mercury
sings, ‘Ga Kimewaza….’
Then we see Usagi all alone asleep on the big red cushion
on the train. Luna tries to wake her up. Then we see her scamper from the left
edge of the screen to the right.
The next sequence’s purple background with pink in the
center. [The sequence is reminiscent of a lot of anime. The one coming to mind
is Pokemon.] The sailors are
lowered down. We see Mars and Venus first. They are all doing their attacks.
Lighting runs across behind them. Venus lets go a stream of light beams of
light. Mars lets go fire. Then we see Jupiter, Mercury (who in proportion is
smaller than them all), and Moon (who is larger in proportion to everyone
else.) Mercury lets go a stream of water, Jupiter has green energy and Moon
waves her moon stick.
Makoto, Rei, Minako, Usagi and Ami walking in a park. All
of them are wearing the outfits described in their individual credit titles
except for Usagi. Usagi is wearing a red and white checkered outfit
(long-sleeve top and skirt), red socks, and purple hi-top sneakers with pink
laces. Makoto is wearing a navy baseball cap, an open navy jacket with white
stripes, a red shirt underneath, and navy track pants. Rei is wearing a
fuchsia long-sleeve shirt, orange skirt with red designs and jeans [that or
black pants] underneath. Minako is wearing a white long-sleeved jacket with a
pink zipper shirt underneath and white pants that roll up to below her knee.
She has a belt of loop circles at her waist and white sneakers. Ami is wearing
a baize short sleeve blouse, a nice long baize skirt with red stripes to below
her knees. Momuru is to the right walking the opposite way. Makoto gives
Minako her cap. Usagi turns around, none of the girls notice.
We see Momoru, transitions of shots of him. Momoru wears
a black hat, baize suit jacket, brown shirt underneath with yarn ^tie-up
closey-up thingies^ and a silver necklace. He walks away and we see Usagi
behind him. She sadly gazes at him.
Sailor Moon with her head and hands on a knee. She looks
up. Tuxedo Mask takes her right hand. Sparkling lights fly up. It is the Moon
Kingdom in ruins with the Earth behind. What appears to be the Silver Crystal
floats above.
Sailor Moon races against a white background with
rainbow-colored specks. Jupiter follows her, Mars, Mercury and Venus follow.
They seem to be still and moved like paper cutouts.
We return to the Sailor Senshi karaoke. Sailor Moon
sings, ‘Makeup Shiyouyo.’ Mercury to Venus, Venus sings, ‘Kirameki.’
Mars sings, ‘Ha Muneni.’
We see a bright yellow crescent moon and a black
silhouette of Sailor Moon appears on top of it. She fully reintegrates. The
camera zooms out to reveal the five Senshi together. They slowly rotate on a
sitting contraption. Venus and Jupiter sit side by side. Mars sits on a lower
level. Mercury stands next to Jupiter. Sailor Moon is standing at the top.
They are at a cityscape with buildings on each side.
Pan across Usagi’s bedroom from the bed
sheets to two alarm clocks to a CD alarm clock to an ‘Aino Minako’ poster
(in a cowboy hat) above her bed. She groans under her pink and white-checkered
bed sheet. Her CD alarm clock is set to ‘C’est la vie’, Minako’s song.
Her hand creeps out from beneath the sheets to turn the alarm off. Her little
brother Shingo stands there watching her. She gives up and places her hand
down. He sighs. He yells, ‘Usagi, mom says to wake up!’ ‘I know…
I’ll wake up when the song ends,’ she replies with her eyes closed, trying
to go back to sleep. He sighs and bends down to get a red alarm clock. He
sticks in her bed. She quickly sits up on her bed, aghast at her alarm clock,
saying, ‘What?! It’s this late already?’ Her hair is down. She turns to
her brother and says, ‘Shingo, did you mess around with my CD player?’ He
looks down at it. ‘It’s on repeat. How many times have you heard this song
now?’ She gets out of bed. She is wearing red pajamas. She scurries to her
dresser drawer with clock in hand. Then she races back to the night table to
put the clock down. She scurries out of the room touching her hair. ‘Oh
no!’ Shingo calmly walks to the doorframe with a frown on as he hears his
sister scream. It sounds like she has fallen down the stairs. ‘Stupid
Usagi,’ he says.
Cut to an establishing shot of their house.
It has the house number 4-20 and the ‘Tsukino’ nameplate next to it.
Inside, our frantic heroine (in her odango hairstyle and school uniform) opens
one door of double doors. ‘Mom!
Lunch! Mom!’ Her mom with a ponytail to her right side says, ‘Why do we
have to go through this every morning?’ Her shirt has American flags all
over it. We hear a female news reporter on the television. ‘Does she work
for the side of good? Sailor V, the hero that everyone’s been talking about,
appeared again in the middle of the night! Last night, a robber entered a
jewelry store in town, and was stopped by Sailor V…’ Usagi runs to the
dining table and asks, ‘Huh? Where’s Dad?’ Ikuko-mama fixing Usagi’s
lunch, points at the television. ‘Chasing after that story.’ With food in
her mouth, Usagi says, ‘Oh, it’s Sailor V again. I guess she is a hero
after all.’ Ikuko-mama runs from the kitchen to the table where she places
her daughter’s lunch wrapped in a pink
cloth, ‘Everyone’s trying to be the first person to find out who she
is.’ Usagi grabs a piece of bread, ‘What? But she’s cool because we
don’t know who she is.’ She sits down. Her mom inquires, ‘Really?
Don’t you want to find out?’ They gaze at the television. Shingo comes in
the room as Usagi answers, ‘she’s a hero.’
He grabs his backpack and walks past the television. The television
says, ‘Just who is Sailor V? We are still no closer in finding out. On the
internet a site titled ‘Who is Sailor V’ has appeared…’ Shingo walks
out the door and stops in the hall. He puts his head down and turns around to
say dryly, ‘Hey… Just what are you doing?’ Usagi gets up and is
hysterical, ‘Oh no! I’m late!’
Cut to the outdoors. Two girls in school
uniform (Usagi’s) ride their bikes. Usagi behind them looks at her watch.
She is on a bridge. The Luna doll falls out of the sky on to her head. ‘What
is this? I can’t see!’ She struggles to take it off. She finally does and
it falls to the ground. She looks at it and picks it up. She looks around.
‘It’s weird,’ she says as she passes her finger over the cat’s
crescent moon. A glow passed by the symbol. She then looks at her watch and
says, ‘I’ve got to hurry!’ She puts the doll back on the stonewall. She
runs off. Luna gets up and says, ‘She’s it! I’ve found her!’
At school Usagi’s face is twisted and
prodded by Haruna-sensei. ‘There are people like Miss Mizuno who are here
half an hour early every day.’ Ami looks up from her studies and then looks
down. ‘Yes,’ Usagi says sadly. Haruna turns around and says, ‘and then
there’s you…’ She turns back to Usagi, tapping the desk, ‘whose been
late three times already this week.’ Usagi puts three fingers and then bows
her head. ‘I’m disappointed in you.’ ‘I’m sorry,’ Usagi bows. We
see a close-up of Naru who smiles.
We see an establishing shot of the school
Tenth Junior High. Usagi is made to stay after school and clean the classroom.
She is wiping a desk. ‘She didn’t have to make me clean up as
punishment…’ Naru pops at the doorway with a cleaning rag. ‘Usagi!’
She turns around and asks, ‘Naru-chan, you’re still here?’ She shows a
washrag. Usagi puts her arms up and races to her. She hugs her, ‘Naru-chan
you’re awesome!’ Naru says, ‘Let’s get this over with quickly and go
karaoke!’ Usagi nods. Naru says with ample eyes, ‘Crown just got the Aino
Minako CD!’ Usagi says, ‘Really? Let’s go!’
Zoom in to Crown Karaoke. Usagi sings a
song. Naru sits down to the side waving her spoon and singing along. A heart
frequently passes by the screen. Then Naru and Usagi sit. Naru applying lip
stick and Usagi sipping a drink. Usagi asks, ‘Renaissance Hall?’ Naru
says, ‘Yup. My mom’s presenting her latest collection there tomorrow.’
Usagi says, ‘Oh yeah, Naru,
your mom’s a famous jewelry designer.’ They are eating their lunches. Naru
says, ‘She’s setting up the stage today! You want to go see it? I hear
it’s great?’ Usagi says, ‘I wanna go! Let’s go!’
Establishing shot of the Renaissance Hall,
where the jewelry show will be held. Pop music plays as models practice their
walking and preparations are being made. The staff wears bright neon green
jackets. Pan to Naru’s mother that gets pamphlet which says ‘Mayumi Osaka,
jewelry designer’ from a young AV. Naru calls her and she turns around. ‘Naru!’
Naru and Usagi walk down the steps of the audience seating. ‘Nice to see you
again, Usagi,’ Naru’s mom says. Naru asks if everything is going okay. Her
mom nods and says, ‘It’s definitely going to be a success tomorrow. What
do you think?’ ‘Looks good to me,’ Naru says. ‘Wow! It’s like your
party,’ Usagi says busting through the group. ‘Look at her waist! It’s
so thin,’ Naru says. Close up to Usagi. Dissolve to the two models and
dissolve back to the close up of Usagi. Meanwhile, Luna has entered the
building and is walking around. The crescent moon on her forehead glows red.
Fashion models walk pass the hallway. Usagi
walks up behind them. She notices a wardrobe rack. She grabs a white dress and holds it up to herself in the
mirror. She poses with it. It seems to lose confidence as she watches herself
in the mirror. She backs away. As she goes to put the dress back, she bumps
into a man in a baize jacket. She bows saying she is sorry. She looks up and
it is Mamoru, who just glares at her and continues walking. ‘What a jerk,’
she says. She turns around and hears an AV saying, ‘Sorry, I can’t find
one of the models. I’m sure she is around somewhere. I’ll go look for
her.’ He rushes off. Mamoru
turns and looks at Usagi, who is still holding the dress. She turns around and
sees him. ‘Huh? No! It’s not me. I’m not a model.’ She quickly puts
the dress back. She gives her a once over and says coldly, ‘Don’t worry.
No one would ever confuse you for one.’ Pan up from her shoes to face. She
looks down at herself and quickly responses, ‘What’s that supposed to
mean?!’ Mamoru doesn’t answer, slightly smirks and walks away. ‘What a
jerk,’ she says as she flips her hair, and thrusts her chin out haughtily.
She then makes sure to ram into Mamoru with her shoulder as she passes him.
She flips her hair again and proudly leaves. Mamoru watches her and turns
around he hears, ‘There are precious jewels, so be careful with him.’ A
male in a neon jacket tells this to a female who says, ‘Yes, I
understand.’ The jewelry is
being laid out. Mamoru says, ‘I may be able to find it here…’ He walks
up a bit and we see out-of-focus jewelry. ‘The legendary silver
crystal...’ The jewelry comes to focus.
Luna is walking on the seats in the
auditorium with her crescent moon glowing red. ‘There’s something here!’
Huge transparent gelatinous hands stretch down from a vent in the
ceiling.
Zoom up to the building at night. ‘Sorry
I’m going to be working late again tonight,’ Naru’s mom says on her cell
phone to her daughter leaning on a railing. ‘Are you okay? Want me to bring
you something to eat tomorrow?’ Naru says inside her home. ‘Your famous
pork cutlet sandwich would be great,’ Naru’s mom says walking through the
building. ‘Roger that,’ Naru says. Her mom chuckles and thanks her.
‘Good night now. Sleep tight,’ she says affectionately to her daughter.
She turns off her phone, turns around and walks back into the building. The
huge gelatinous hands follow her. She turns back in fear.
Cut to Usagi’s house. Usagi (with her hair down) yawns. ‘Good night,’
she says softly as she puts her head down on the pillow. Luna as a stuffed
kitty is beside her. She rests for a while and then opens her eyes. ‘Huh?
Isn’t this?’ She picks up the stuffed animal and sits up. ‘The cat from
this morning?’ The stuff animal’s face is on the bed sheet.
‘Usagi-chan….’ Says a voice. Usagi looks around. ‘Usagi-chan.’ Luna
stands up. Usagi looks deeply at it, yelps and pushes Luna away, leaping out
of bed and running towards the door. Luna slides in front of her. ‘Don’t
be scared. My name is Luna. I’ve been looking for you.’ Ikuko-mama calls,
‘Usagi, is something the matter?’ Luna says, ‘Please listen to what I
have to say.’ Usagi bits her lips and then calls, ‘No! It’s nothing!’
She closes the door. Usagi walks paces and then sits on the floor. Luna jumps
on the table, which startles Usagi. Luna tells her, ‘Usagi, a great evil is
on the move to this planet.’ ‘Really?’ Luna paces, ‘And the only ones
who can fight that evil are the Princess and her four senshi. You are one of
those senshi!’ Usagi says, ‘Huh? Senshi?’ She moves her head to the side
and scratches her head like this is impossible. She then smiles, ‘Oh! I get
it!’ Luna puts her head to the side. ‘This is a dream!’ She gets up
being relived. ‘This is dream because this could never be happening!’ She
gets back into bed.
‘H-Hey,’ Luna stutters. ‘Usagi-chan
please.’ Luna implores. Usagi lifts her head up. ‘Fight with me.’ Usagi
then puts her head down and says, ‘This is just a dream!’ She pulls the
covers over her head. Luna jumps on her bed and says, ‘Don’t you care
about what happens to this planet?’ She comes closer and Usagi is repeating
that this all a dream. ‘I can’t believe that a normal girl like you is a
chosen senshi either. But the crescent moon on my forehead tells me you’re
the one.’ Luna hops over to the windowsill. A yellow light shines from her
crescent moon and a pink cell phone appears. ‘Contact me with this when
you’ve decided to believe me.’ She pushes the window open. ‘Oh, and you
should stay away from that jewelry show. It’s dangerous.’ Usagi peers at
Luna from under the covers. Luna leaves through the window.
Usagi sits up and the camera pans to the cell phone.
The next day, Naru’s mom comes in to find Naru in her room at the convention
center. ‘Unauthorized personnel are not allowed in here,’ she tells Naru.
Naru looks around and laughs uncomfortably. ‘Mama, what are you talking
about?’ Her mom smiles after a moment. ‘Oh, I thought you were someone
else.’ Naru worriedly stares at her. Her mom asks, ‘What do you want?’
Naru grabs a green bag and says, ‘This.’ Her mother snaps, ‘What?’
Naru still holding strong even though the sudden strangeness, ‘You don’t
remember? I told you I’d bring it today.’ Her mother lets out a sigh and
turns around. She smiles, ‘Oh that’s right, I did.’ She advances on Naru.
Naru is creeped out. She takes a step back. ’Tell me what’s in this
bag,’ Naru says. ‘You asked for it…’ Naru’s mom creepily walks
toward Naru and she steps back. Zoom in to her.
Meanwhile Usagi wakes up. ‘Is this… Saturday?’ Zoom in to the pink cell
phone. ‘Yes! No School!’ For some reason we see a close-up of Usagi’s
back as she says this. She runs out of the room, leaving the pink cell phone
behind. ‘Mama! Let’s go shopping!’
In the convention center, Naru backs away from her strange mother. Naru scared
says, ‘Tell me! Tell me what you asked me for last night.’ ‘Just give it
to me. Mom’s busy.’ She tries to grab the bag. ‘You’re not my
mother!’ Naru pushes her mother’s grab from it. Naru looks at her in fear.
‘Who are you?’ Her ‘mother’ smiles evilly. ‘Your mother.’ Naru
pushes her away, ‘No!’ The green bag falls to the floor. Naru runs off.
Naru’s mom recoups and looks up in irritation. She walks after her
ominously.
Outside the room but still in the center,
Naru runs as her mom walks. Naru runs into an AV boy. ‘Help me! There’s
something wrong with my mom!’ The boy seems not to care. Naru is frightened.
He smirks and his eyes glow green. He turns into Jadeite. Zoom out from the
clearly shocked Naru. He points at her. She falls down unconscious. Naru’s
mom stops her feet at her face. ‘The show is about to begin. Absorb all the
obsessive energy that the women shower over the jewelry.’ His deep voice
echoes. ‘For Queen Beryl!’ She nods.
Naru’s mother glows, the huge gelatinous hands move up above her.

Outside Luna walks over to it, ‘Oh no…
I’ve got to do something!’ Luna can see the huge hands from a huge clear
window. She turns around walks around a pink bag falls on her head. She looks
up to see Usagi, who is trying to climb from the scaffolding onto the ledge of
the building, several feet up. ‘Naru-chan! I’m coming!’ She tries to put
her foot on it but she slips. She falls. We see Luna with funny big eyes.
Usagi falls on top of Luna. ‘Usagi, what are you doing?’ ‘I couldn’t
get in so…’ Usagi is wearing a yellow jacket with a pink stripe, a pink
t-shirt with stars on it, jeans with plaid cuffs, and purple hi-top sneakers
with pink shoelaces. ‘Get off me,’ Luna says. ‘I’m sorry,’ she says
as she gets up. ‘Why are you here? I told you it was dangerous.’ ‘I
don’t know how but I knew Naru was in danger…’ She looks at the building
and kneels down to Luna. ‘We have to save Naru!’
‘You knew because you are a senshi. But…’ Zoom to a window. ‘I
think I now know why you’re a senshi.’ Luna says as her crescent moon
glows yellow, ‘Usagi-chan, let’s save Naru together.’ In front of Usagi
appears in her hands, a lipstick tube and brooch. Zoom in to the brooch.
An AV places a necklace around a model’s
neck. It’s a room of models getting ready. Usagi and Luna creep up at the
window. Luna says, ‘Try taking a picture of the model with your cell
phone.’ Usagi pulls out the cell phone from her pocket. [Didn’t she leave
it at her house?] She opens up the cell phone. She takes a picture of the
model and she has transformed into a model, with her hair done up, and a dress
and makeup. ‘What’s this?’ ‘It lets you transform into whatever you
take a picture of. Now we can go in there!’ Usagi gazes at herself and then
grins at the phone. ‘This is too cool!’ Usagi and a Luna easily get past
the guard. She smiles as they enter and Luna giggles.
Meanwhile the last of the models come out and then Naru’s mother comes out
on the stage. The show ends. Everyone claps. She raises her arms and purple
smoke shoots out. The models all fall down unconscious. The audience tries to
run, but they too fall unconscious. ‘I’ll take all of your energy.’ She
kneels down to a model. ‘Hold it right there!,’ Usagi calls back in her
previous outfit runs down the steps. The mom stands up and asks, ‘You… How
is the gas not affecting you?’ ‘That’s because… because…’ She
trails off and looks at Luna.
‘Why am I?’ She whispers. ‘Because you’re a senshi.’ ‘Oh.’ She
turns back to Naru’s mom. ‘Because I’m a senshi!!’ ‘A senshi?’ The
gelatinous hands rise out of Naru-chan’s mom. ‘Luna, what is that?’
‘It’s a youma!’
Usagi screams and runs away, out of the building. Usagi opens the door, Luna
runs out, youma tries to grab her with it’s huge hands but Usagi escapes.
The hand sizzles on the door.
Usagi runs out and falls on the ground. The
mom is outside of the door with the three arms sticking out of her. ‘Now is
your chance!’ Luna yells. Usagi nods and gets up clumsily. ‘Moon Prism
Power, Make up!’ Usagi transforms. Naru’s mom gasps. ‘I’m the pretty
senshi for love and justice, Sailormoon! In the name of the moon, I’ll
punish you!’
Jadeite holds on the wall on the corner and says, ‘Sailor Moon? Who is
she?’ Newly transformed,
Sailormoon looks down at herself, feeling her hair and her costume. She
smiles. ‘This is amazing!’ Luna warns that the youma is coming after her.
Usagi runs off. The hands trying to grab her and she bats them cowardly. She
falls onto the floor. ‘No! No! No! I’m scared!’ Luna tells her,
‘Calm down. You should now how to fight. You are a chosen senshi.’ The
jewel on Sailor Moon’s tiara glows. She looks up at it. Then she gets up.
Naru’s mom looks at her. Sailor Moon spins, kicks and dodges around. She
avoids the Youma hands by jumping over them. She makes a pose and then jumps
on a rail to jump down to the first floor. She runs and faces the monster. She
then puts her hand over her brooch, and the Moon Stick appears. She grabs the
wand with a determined face. It glows. ‘Moon Healing Escalation!’ She puts
her left leg on the back of head and spins around. Yellow lights spin around.
The gelatinous hands disappear and the youma yells. Naru’s mom yelps and
collapses to the ground. Usagi looks at the moon stick and jumps up and down.
‘I did it! This is awesome!’ Usagi leaning on a wall, ‘You did it,
Sailor Moon!’ She runs over to Luna. Jadeite appears from behind a column
and throws a jagged metal shard at her. Luna has her wacky eyes again. ‘Look
out!’ yells Luna. Slow motion as Sailor Moon walks and the shard flies in
the air toward her. She gasps. But Tuxedo Kamen appears, and pushes her out of
the way. They put fall on the ground and he covers her with his cape. The
shard hits the floor. Tuxedo looks at it. Jadeite glares and leaves.
Sailormoon gets up from his cape. Tuxedo Kamen turns around kind of shaken.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen gaze at each other. ‘Ah.. Um…’ says
Sailormoon eloquently. Tuxedo Kamen, hand still on her shoulder, gives her his
hand, and helps her up. ‘I didn’t find what I was looking for, but you put
on an interesting show.’ He tells her and walks away. Sailormoon runs over
and stops in the hall as she sees him walk off. ‘Thank you for saving me!’
He stops. ‘Um… who are you?’ He looks back at her, covering his face
with his cape. ‘Tuxedo Kamen’. He flings his cape over his shoulder and
walks off. ‘Tuxedo Kamen…? How weird. But…he’s pretty cool!’ She
smiles dreamily.
In the convention center, Naru wakes up on a table in her mother’s room.
“Huh?” She looks around. “Was I dreaming?”
In the Dark Kingdom, Queen Beryl is looking into a ball of fire. She opens her
eyes wide. ‘Who is this that is interfering with my plans?’ She calls the
fire off. “I won’t allow it!” A huge purple energy comes out of her.
Sailormoon is standing looking out over the water.
‘I… am... Sailormoon…’ Luna explains, ‘One of the senshi who protect
the Princess. Our fight is just beginning.’ Sailor moon looks up and stares
out into the distance. We see a white background and Sailor Mercury appears.
Then Sailor Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Then they all pose together: Mars and
Mercury in one row, then Jupiter and Venus in another. Sailor V in a row in
front of them in between them. Then in the front, Jadeite and Tuxedo Kamen.
Back to our heroine, zoom into Sailormoon from long shot to close-up. ‘I
can’t tell if I’m nervous or excited, but my heart is pounding…’ Luna
chuckles. Sailor Moon holds her hands on her bow. Zoom out for her back. The
Lunar cycle appears around her. Fade to white. The show title on the center
left corner.
