September 16th
Update - Jay Navok

News update: WoL, RSS, and Keiko?

A variety of newsbits in this update.

First, Warriors of Legend has its first print review! It's in this month's Neo Magazine UK. We received 4 out of 5 stars and the issue's "Hot Pick" award. Needless to say we're very happy about this. The WoL comments page has some select quotes from the review and be sure to pick up the September 2005 (#11) issue of Neo (it's available at Barnes and Noble in North America) to check it all out. And if you haven't ordered your copy of Warriors of Legend yet, please do so!

Second, I've introduced an RSS feed for the Soapbox. I recognize that our irregular update schedule means it's sometimes hard to tell when there's a new article up, and I'm hoping that you take advantage of the new RSS feature to be kept up-to-date. To subscribe, add this feed to your RSS aggregator: http://www.genvid.com/genvidrss.xml Firefox users may subscribe via the orange RSS button in the bottom-right corner of the page.

I have to update the RSS feed manually each time we update, so right now we're still in a test-phase. If people like it and use it, we'll continue.

Next, a request from Dr. Xadium. In Godzilla: Final Wars, at 0:51:04, in a jump cut between reaction takes, a girl who looks curiously like Keiko Kitagawa is sitting beside some dog and a guy. Can anyone confirm this cameo? It's not mentioned at IMDB.

In trying to solve the riddle Dr. Xadium came across this French blog which seems to indicate (although none of us speak French so we're not really sure) that she sought a role in it, but we have no hard proof. Edit- Thanks everyone who contacted us!

While we're on the subject of weird PGSM coincidences, be sure to watch Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang the movie.

Lastly, this weekend we'll be featuring the first in a brand-new comic series from Dr. Xadium: "Deep Thoughts with Minako."

And don't miss my update from yesterday, right below here!
