Ayaka Diaries 8/08
I had been working on an update for the weekend but was distracted. I'll try
to finish it in a day or two. In the meantime I've translated the latest Ayaka

From the time I was on Nittelgenic's BBS I've been promising that I'd show
"glasses Komatsu" so, today, for the first time, I present this face to you! I
don't think glasses fit me very well so I usually wear contacts.
I've always wanted an iPod and I received one as a birthday present from Young
Sunday's editorial department. [iPod Mini though...] I was so happy that
I immediately sought out a computer to put songs on it, but I didn't know how...
I glared at the PC for some three hours.
But I've managed to put nearly 100 songs on it and moving songs has already
become a habit. I also received presents from all you readers. I was surprised
to receive so many. I'm delighted. You all seem to know what I like. (laughs)
Everything I got I like. Really, thank you all so much. I think I'll 'return' it
all to you by doing the best in my work. I plan to do my best from now on with a
roar!!!! [With this] I'm now able to face the best possible 19th year.
She looks very good with glasses (or maybe that's just a preference of mine)
so it's a shame she doesn't wear them more often. The iPod helps make the scene,
too (or maybe I'm just a technophile).

I finally got a chance to view some fireworks, which I've been dying to
see. My yukata wasn't that pretty. But I was able to see the fire works from
pretty close, with such intensity that it was quite beautiful. It was a really
happy hour for me. I wanna go see fire works again.

Did you check out Mono magazine? It has a peaceful feeling to it and I
like it. (laughs) Those who haven't seen it, definitely take a look. Today we
had a photo shoot for the latest UP TO BOY installment. The weather was so good
I thought I'd collapse. (laughs) But this time it was a really nice experience.

Yesterday, in the midst of that heat, I was at the CANDy photo shoot.
When it gets hot my strength gets sapped. But I had some
Loco Moco for
lunch and felt better. I suddenly met Alisa and Shibue again and it was like
a reunion, we talked a bunch. During the evening I went with Hashimoto Aya-chan
to eat Korean BBQ. It was like a whole day of eating. (laughs)
Hoshiko informs us that Alisa has done a track on the new Katamari game.
