Live Action Sailor Moon update (Actual Full Preview for Act 42)

I have finally thought of a caption for this picture.

The HICBC preview and completed Toei preview for Act 42. Thanks kenji!

Queen Metari's power grows strong. If Usagi cannot suppress it, the Earth will surely be doomed. Encouraged by Naru and her friends, Usagi begins practicing to curb Metaria's power but all the training sessions seem to miss the mark.
These (training sessions) don't really seem to be able to protect the planet.

Meanwhile, in the Dark Kingdom, Jadeite swears his loyalty to Beryl. Wanting to obtain Endymion (Mamoru, in his current incarnation) no matter what the cost, she gives Jadeite instructions.
Holding a mysterious stone given to him by Beryl, Jadeite gets close to Mamoru...

Toei top left:

"This, this is the power to destroy the world...!"

Princess Sailor Moon's power has dragged Naru into things as well. Having decided she will suppress that power, Usagi frantically continues her efforts toward this end...
Yet Metaria's power is growing ever larger until it finally affects Naru...

Can't they just assume we know it's growing and get on with it without repeating it every minute?

The top right box:

To defeat their enemies, the power of the Ginzuishou is necessary. Yet if the same power strengthens their enemies and destroys the planet...  No matter where she looks, Usagi has a rocky road ahead of her.

Usagi mourns the fact that Naru has been hurt because of her, but however will Naru respond to Usagi?

A vanilla pudding pop. (God bless you Good Humor for bringing those addicting little bastards back. Now if only J.R. Simplot would bring back Micromagic French fries, my return to childhood could be complete.)

Box below has Naru and Makoto in costume, as well as Usagi and Ami:

Sailor Moon has finally entered its "last spurt."

It would be pointless if the girls were (always) scowling just because the stories are more serious, so we have been scheming this or that, but it's certain that managing these things is getting harder and harder. The show itself- at the same time as Usagi and her friends- run along this perilous road.

A series of pictures in the box below:

A STRUGGLE TO THE DEATH! THE PENGUIN AND THE RABBIT!

Pic 1: The staring battle of "Penguin Face" versus "Rabbit Face" starts!

Pic 2:  Making maximal use of her "Blurred Eyes" and "Nonsensically kept opened beak", Ami attacks powerfully. [As though compared with Ami getting new weapon.] Usagi is the Rabbit as usual, so she would be at a disadvantage. But then, the Rabbit has her own weapon!

Pic 3: Tickle, tickle, tickle
"This isn't fair!!"

Pic 4: And so Usagi accomplishes her revenge from Act 40... we guess?

Next box has several pics from Act 41. I skipped the first paragraph which didn't seem important:

From Act 41: As the night passes in Koyama amusement park

The fire around Usagi's face seems to be a fire's reflection but we used real fire. So as the cast wouldn't get burned it was located far away... but that meant that it was the camera crew who were at burning distance.

The Koyama Amusement park fireworks display is a bit different from city amusement parks. As is P-Moon's custom, she's got a lot of explosions around her... and didn't it seem to scale up?! Watching Act 36, a certain scriptwriter and Supervisor K might have misunderstood something... So we kept up the explosions in Act 42 too. But then seeing the Takemitsu unit's enthusiasm, Supervisor S may misunderstand something (and will shoot even more explosion scenes?)... There seems no limit to the trouble of explosions Miyuu-san has to go through. [Kenji writes:  Supervisor K may mean Satou Takemitsu. Because "Takemitsu" can be read as "Kenkou" which is easier to pronounce. I guess that line means: Takemitsu thought Act 41 should have as good explosion scenes as Act 36 by Suzumura which was specifically prepared for explosion shooting.]

Next, a tired supervisor shot:

The Takemitsu unit has been continuing work for four weeks straight on "Kamen Rider Blade" episodes 24/25 (as you might expect of Toei) and July truly seems to be the Takemitsu month! The supervisor has to film "Sailor Moon" while putting the finishing touches on "Ken." With the filming of "Sailor Moon" going into the night and then continuing straight onto editing "Ken" there's truly no end to it. While he's walking on a tightrope he has some headroom in his "Blade" schedule- completely opposite to the situation with Sailor Moon. As he's filming Act 42 he is stuck finishing up Act 41.

The supervisor knows not what sleep is. You've done a great job- thank you very much!

Last:

On the 19th of this month it was Beryl's actress Sugimoto-san's birthday, and on the 23rd it was Minako's actress Komatsu-san's birthday. Yay yay! On the sets we had some celebrations.

Up till now we've put up "report photos" but this time we won't do so.
"It's 39 degrees centigrade!" "Now it's 40 degrees centigrade!" Under such a blazing sun, the cast and staff are shooting hard. So please just let us keep that memories belonging only to us who are at the shooting site, as a solace.
