You
think it's romantic but he's just staring at this giant zit she's got. |
The HICBC preview and now
completed Toei
preview for Act 41.
As they enter summer vacation, some volunteer work pops up at Usagi's
school. With her classmate Naru, Usagi, Ami, and Makoto help watching over
kids at a children's home. While she doesn't know how to handle the kids,
Usagi's got a particular scheme in mind. Without telling Makoto, she calls
up Motoki and leaves the two alone. Not knowing anything, Makoto carries the
children's dirty clothes to the backyard.
...where Motoki has just arrived.
Toei top left:
"I'm fine by myself."
At least, that's what Makoto believes. But Usagi says, "That can't be what
she's really thinking."
Meanwhile, Metaria's powers begin to grow even stronger...
Metaria's power always grows even stronger. One day I'd like for it to
shrink just a little. Honestly, how do the rest of us expect to compete?
disclaimer: absolutely no odd innuendos were intended by this
statement.
The top right box:
Her life as Venus, her live as Minako.
Minako swings back and forth between the two.
Also swinging back and forth are Usagi and Makoto. Opposing the Ginzuishou's
power is Usagi, and having decided "I'm okay alone" is Makoto, but can they
not avoid having their present lives sacrificed to their previous lives'
oppressive fate?
They can now with new instant Fate Wiper 3000! Guaranteed to wash away
dirty fate and grime within 30 seconds or your money back.
Note: not a guarantee.
Box below has picture of... pink bunny...
Standing in the way of the girls is the series' strongest enemy.

Throw your toys in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care! |
Usagi is hopelessly overtaken by having to borrow the ginzuishou's
power. Has the time finally come when Princess Sailor Moon flips on
her "battle mode" switch? When the power to once again destroy the planet
has once again been unleashed, what will happen?
uh, the picture and this text have nothing to do with each other
While it may seem that serious scenes are filmed earnestly and fun scenes
are filmed cheerfully, the scenes with comedy touches are actually more
difficult to film.
In the show "Sailor Moon", we put our all
into both those scenes. As we rush into series' end, the show will become more serious overall but as long as we can film fun scenes...!
Bunch 'o' pics in the box below:
From the Studio -- Act 40
Pic 1: Act 40's Battle Tournament scene could stand on its own as a separate
program.
While drama's aren't shows that film in real-time, we're simulating a
real-time flowing variety show. There are a number of difficulties with
that.
Pic 2: "But we'll do our best!" type of people - Part 1
Pic 3: "We'll do our best!" type of people - Part 2
Pic 4: While on standby, Kitagawa-san came across a toy. This "Pedi" (a
studio camera) isn't like a camera used in filming dramas, and the manner in
which you zoom and focus is much easier!
Pic 5: "Can you catch anything?" We caught Hama-chi! [toss it back!]
Pic 6:
Umm it [what you
are shooting] is hooked up to throughout the studio... Ikeda-san (Mr.
Manager) was also watching it in the waiting room. We're sorry! They're normally
not these kinds of kids! (lies)
Last box:
"Winner and Looser" -- From Act 40 [lol @ engrish]
Honor restored?
Chisaki-san spins all the plates! What an unexpected ability! Even in the
show, Ami wins completely three times.
"This sucks"
Too bad Miyuu-san,
that game ought to end up with Minako's team's losing. (Although
for these kinds of calculations, a calculator is kind of useless you know.)
Here are the captains.
Being caked with flour, Komatsu-san is
somehow very happy! Doesn't seem like she hates it!
Ooooookay.
Have you heard of
Project: New
Future, Anime News Network's volunteer program to help kids with cancer?
If you haven't, you have now. Please go take a look at the website and
consider joining the initiative. Not only will you be helping out some great
kids, but you can get free anime DVDs and manga as well!
Over at the SomethingAwful
forums, despite what you may think by the site's name, there is numerous
charity work done. (True, sometimes we go to protest rallies dressed up as
robots and hum the Mario theme then get kicked out by the cops, but that's a
story for another day. Next month SA members in the New York area are going
to be giving toy donations to Ronald McDonald house (after a spree at Toys R
Us) which I'll be filming.) I mention this because while SA pulls off a lot
of charity work, I've rarely seen that among the anime fan community. Now's
the chance.
