News
My PC is still out of commission and it'll probably be another two days
before I start to get back on track. (Protip: Do not try to import a Windows
XP Home Edition registry into Windows Professional. They do not like each
other.) I will do my best to have the Full Act 35 Preview ready by tomorrow's
update. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, Lunar Archivist can't get
Moonstruck done for a few more days either.
There's a silver lining, though. In some of the best news to hit the Sailor
Moon anime in quite a while, the series is finally seeing its R2 DVD release
schedule continued. The first two volumes of Sailor Moon R will be released on
September 21st, 2004. (Credit to DrWho2002 at AFSM for spotting this.)
Volume 1 and
Volume 2.
They seem to be following the exact same method as the first series
received, which is about 6 episodes a pop. This still bugs me, though, as I'd
have preferred 4 episodes with the LD bonuses and higher quality than 6
episodes crammed onto the disc along with some token clean op/ed extra. (Which
is exactly what they're doing, again.) Note that if Toei's original
statement last year of PGSM lasting about 50 episodes is to be taken as still
applicable, then these discs are coming out just as the live action series is
ending.
