Live Action Sailor Moon update (Full preview for Act 34)

Metal Gear Solid 5: Moon Eater.

Both the HICBC preview and full Toei preview for Act 34 are here. First HICBC:

Since Ami was a child she has always suppressed herself and followed what her mother requested of her to make her mother happy. But even though her mother said it would be best to change schools, Ami is unable to suppress herself, as in the past, this one time. Meanwhile Rei remains unable to forgive her father the politician for not coming to the hospital when her mother was dying. What actions will these two, who hold such complex feelings toward their parents, take...?

Now Toei:

Top left:

The feelings a child has toward her parents, and the feelings a parent has toward their children. Why do they cross each other? As Rei and Ami face off against their respective parents, it becomes a battle of their own personal fortitude.

On the right, top:

So this "parent and child" drama has finally reached Act 34!

Ami is pressed to change schools. And as her antagonism toward her father grows, Rei is being targeted by a youma. It seems that each will have to look within themselves to find their respective responses.

The paragraph below it is some dull nonsense on one of the camera men and the non-exciting life he leads as a camera man. I'm going to skip that and go to the one below it, with the picture of the guy smiling, and toward the bottom, of another supervisor giving instructions:

"I've never done a story with Rei before"

This has long been supervisor Maihara's regret.

Voices on the set lately have gossiped, "When you speak of Maihara's group, don't you think of Ami?" but supposedly this is just "by coincidence."

Yet that's the case for some other supervisors as well. When you speak of Minako and Rei you think of Takemitsu's group, when you consider [episodes about] Usagi and Mamoru's previous incarnations you think of Takamaru's group... all these 'coincidences' are piling up. Since we book the cast not interfering their school work, maybe we worked ourselves into a pattern without knowing it.

From Act 27 onward there have been various deliberate lineups. The supervisor's long-awaited Rei [episode], as well as Ami's relations, have been the interesting ideas included in Acts 33/34.

The box below that has text, and at the bottom, a picture of one of the supervisors with a young girl:

Impressions on Rei/Kitagawa-san's first story.

Supervisor: "She's so enthusiastic. I hadn't thought she could make it to such a level!"  And with that, the supervisor is satisfied. So he's got no regrets!

"But we only have glimpses of Minako..."

They meet more often at parties and such than on the set... although that may be going overboard. Should we call out, "Make a Minako story next!"

Next is the photo of Rei and her father:

A correction

Rei's papa and Ami's mama do appear in the comic!

Or so it was pointed out to me.

The words to the effect of,  "Is this a historic event in the Sailor Moon canon?" that I carelessly wrote last time were reflections of the screen versions of the story. I'm sorry for misleading you. Of course the 'comic' is what that [the appearance of Rei's papa and Ami's mama] is based on.

For example, why the politician secretary in act 8 was a woman, and why the name "Nishizaki" was emphasized (in act 33), was because, putting "Casablanca Memory"'s setting/setup to account, these were the ideas for not to be misunderstood these acts with an extra story [to make people sense these settings being based on the original manga].
This television program is distributed as a "live action" series, but the gist is that the "drama conversion" was done on the basis of the original manga. (Mind you, I don't mean to say that the others [anime/musical] are not precisely (tracing the original manga like our live action series is) or we intend to pretend that the others didn't exist.)

It may have been a verbal slip when I wrote "Sailor Moon's history." I'm extremely sorry.

Last box:

"A bit of publicity"

Will "Sailor Moon" be visiting the FOMA/Ezweb song theme site, "Toei Song Paradise" in June? Of course the theme song will be there, and there's a rumour the five senshi's character song(s) will be in there as well.

Thanks kenji!!

An open letter to Toei:

Please fire the person who runs the SM website. Her (since I'm fairly certain its a woman) writing style is a blaspheme to your language. What she puts on there the equivalent prose of 13-year-old script kiddies.

I would much rather have the person who writes the lyrics to the sera myu songs as the page's author. While what's written there would still make no sense, it would at least include incredibly hilarious Engrish like "Excite a Ghost Mystery!" and "I'm a Prince of the Earth" that could keep me laughing for days on end.
