WoL Quick Hits
UPDATE 6/1 - We'll be returning to regular content soon. Just getting
a few more WoL notes out of the way. Earlier today we were in the
Top 3,000 books
sold on
Amazon.com! Pretty cool.
Jeni from Eternal Legend has
given us some good tips on how to order the book via retail. (Be sure to check
her site out for great Myu info.)
Retail chain bookstores such as Borders can order Warriors of
Legend but you have to be pushy about it. The thing is, if you don't pick
the book up, they lose money, and they want to avoid that. So what you have to
do is show them that you care and that you will be there to pick up the book
when the time comes, or even prepay for it. Be sure to take the ordering
information on the Ordering
Page such as the book's ISBN number.
So far people seem to be having the best luck with Borders. For the time
being you are unfortunately not going to have any luck at Barnes and Noble.
We're trying to get into their catalog but it could be another two months before
that happens.
If you try to get your local bookstore to order the book for you, please
contact us and tell
us your experience, whether it works out or not.
Did you know: If you can't use credit cards,
Booksurge also takes check and money orders. Go through the normal shopping
cart process and on the last page there'll be a box to check on the bottom.
They'll give you an address to mail the check to, and you'll be all set!
A nice article on Warriors of
Legend is up at
Animation
Insider, might want to take a look.
While a few people who ordered last week got their books already thanks to
what we assume is overnight mail shipping, the majority of you will likely find
the book in the mail over the next few days. We're very interested
in hearing your reactions. Please send us
feedback with your
thoughts on the book, what you'd like to see more of in later works, and maybe
let us know if or how the book has influenced your thoughts on Japan and
Sailor Moon. We further want to hear from you if you ordered the book
outside the U.S., as we're curious as to how fast the book is shipping overseas.
We would also really appreciate it if those who have read the book take
the time to give your thoughts on the book at the
WoL forums as well as on
Amazon.
