Volleyball
practice for the 2005 Special Olympics
in Nagano. |
Whenever I get the Act 29 synopsis, I will put it up. In the meantime Serecindra
has had her storyboards up for a while, and screenshots are courtesy her.
For the time being, I can take care of part of what's on the Toei
page. Once again there are lots of pictures on the Toei page, in connection
with these captions they're giving them, so I suggest going there and reading
this in conjunction.
First the piece on the left:
Having been accused, "You're the one who hurt Mio-chan!", Usagi
is ostracized by her classmates. Insisting that "Usagi's not bad!" Mio proposes that Usagi's chance to return to their good graces
would be a "secret concert by Aino Minako."
Next, on the right, in the box with the picture of some fat bearded guy
pointing at Alisa:
Of all things that could happen, her personal rival has transferred to
Usagi's Juuban Middle school. "Something's up" suspects Minako.... Kuroki Mio is trying to get rid of Minako and
Usagi, and things are unsettled in their class.
Below that, next to the picture of the wacky scientist guy:
Speaking of the last episode, there is a new
brilliant character, Mio, that is played by Alisa-san. But [as may be expected
of] Toei [we're] paying
attention to this person [in the picture], the science class's Katou- sensei.
This part is played by Mr. Katou, the chief
assistant director. He's an "internal personnel" extra, so to speak,
and was asked 'strongly' by supervisor Satou [to play the part], and performed
enthusiastically even though he had a high fever. Will he become as famous as
Yamamoto Hikoemon in Juuban middle school? He'll be doing a lot in Act 30, so
please look forward to [the performance of] this "hot" Katou-sensei.
With the picture of Chisaki:
One thing Satou supervisor was careful in creating in Act 29 was "Ami's facial expressions." He said things like, "You must show to the viewer with your with your facial expressions 'I won't become dark
twice!'"
It wasn't enough for Chisaki-san to just play 'Ami'; she also has to play 'differently from dark Ami.' How difficult!

I
spilled some on my puppet. |
Next to the image of that delightful Nako-Nako:
Now then, although it's Golden Week, Sailor Moon doesn't stop!
Tomorrow [at the time it was written], May 2nd, is the "Sailor Moon Campaign" Moon Prize B's "Special Live Event" performance. There's singing and dancing and drama! Will a certain "Master" gallop his way from London? I think all expectations will be surpassed.
Below that, next to the picture of Jyoji with an umbrella; I assume this is
in reference to that event:
Handling their busy schedules between filming and school, the cast is in the midst of intensive training. [Yet] the cast's thoughts of "I want to respond to my fans!" is
so strong! To tell the truth, I'm jealous of all those successful candidates who were able to experience being guests there.
The yellow box is some nonsense about not releasing pictures from the event if
you went there and I'm not going to translate that because it just makes me jealous.
In the Japanese
language forum, poster yajiuma (whose name I'm correct on now;
sorry about last time!) said that not only the 5 senshi but Tuxedo
Mask, Sailor Luna, and the Four Generals also apparently showed up. (No Beryl?
)
Kenji also linked to a number of Japanese blogs which covered the event- if
you can read Japanese, they're worth looking at.
Below that:
The live action "Visual
Book" is incredibly popular! This isn't some stealthy publicity, [we] really recommend it. There's focus on the the girl's "current life,"
and occasionally some photos that speak of poetry and mythology. One more treasure has arrived.
Nonsensical discussion abounds on the book in this
forum thread.
Thanks to kenji for explaining some confusing words (which abound at the
Toei page), and to "M" (although she'll never see this) for clean up
work in the above.
We're a little under a week away from E3. We're going to have a
publically-postable E3 forum during the convention period, and if things work
out, some videos on the front page over the course of the week.
Why cover E3?
Because the "God Driving" game demands it, and whatever the God
Driving game says to do, you do. I learned this the hard way.
