Update - Jay Navok

Live Action Sailor Moon update (Episode 27 preview)

I really want a blue raspberry sno-cone right now.

Preview from the official Live Action Sailor Moon page. Toei's was taken care of last week.

Usagi and Mamoru had previously lived their lives deeply in love, as the Princess of the Moon and Prince of the Earth.

Although in the present they have once again managed to meet due to their strong attraction, the love between the two of them cannot be allowed.

Looking to find his true self, Mamoru has journeyed to London. Having given up on Mamoru, Usagi now decides to focus all her strength on regaining the dark-hearted Ami.

Meanwhile, a single senshi appears in front of Ami. (Sailor Mercury.) Stating, "I will surely restore you," who could this senshi be? And a mysterious girl also happens to appear in front of Usagi, Rei, and Makoto at the same time.

Although there have been no new diary entries yet this week, and Mars and Mercury have not updated theirs from last week, Komatsu's has been added.

Sailor Venus (4/9)

The sakura have bloomed in Tokyo, haven't they. It looks like it'll be just a bit longer [for them to bloom] in Iwate. Starting in April I'll be a senior in high school. [Third year student.] The first two years of my life as a high school student has gone by in a flash. It'd be great to be able to live out my remaining year with my good friends and making many memories.

Clearly written in a timely matter and on an entirely pertinent and important topic.

Quick snippets: AnimeOnDVD broke the news coming out of Anime Boston 2004 that Geneon (Pioneer) will not be able to renew its license for the Sailor Moon movies. SMU's already written about this.

We'd actually be curious as to whether Geneon even sought renewal, as we kind of doubt the movies are big sellers anymore. SOS has said they're preparing an update on the Toei situation for sometime this month and it should be an interesting read.

The second part of the Episode 67 review will take a couple days since Bruce needs to make all those snapshots from the second half.

Lastly, we're now one month away from the Electronic Entertainment Exposition in Los Angeles. The week of the expo, May 10th-15th, this site will be switching gears to E3 coverage live from the convention. (Hopefully with videos; it depends on whether Jay can get a digital camcorder by then.) We'll try to have our regular SM articles in addition to the E3 coverage.
