"Does
it hurt here?"
"No."
"Here?"
"No."
"I'm not checking anywhere else."
"...Hina would." |
If you happen to be interested in seeing a photo of the upcoming new senshi,
why that'd be
here
and
here.
Quick runby of the preview at the official
Live Action Sailor Moon page.
Usagi is unable to hide her surprise at having found Tuxedo Mask's
identity. And while she is bothered at having unexpectedly told Mamoru how she
feels about him, she finds herself unwilling to let go of a glimmer of hope.
Simultaneously, Mamoru's fiancé, Hina, seeks to find out whether he
actually does love her. While unintended, in hiding his actual
feelings, Mamoru is hurting Hina.
At some point Mamoru is going to have to make a decision on their relationship.
What will it be...?
A more literal reading of the last bit would be "The time for a
decision on their relationship has drawn near, [and] Mamoru..." but I like
this more.

There
is absolutely no subtle product placement to be found here.
Incidentally, I'm
having a Big Mac© attack. |
The week's diaries from official
Live Action Sailor Moon page. Jupiter's is absent from the page. Maybe she
went back to Okinawa for o-hanami.
Sailor Moon (3/22)
It's already been for about half a year since shooting of Sailor Moon
began. We held a "good job for this half year" party. We ate various
foods, [did some] talking, etc... it was very fun! I feel this half year was
long, and yet, also short... Recharging my 'fighting spirit' [bracing myself]
again, I'll do my best, so please keep watching!
I had a "good job for this half year" party too. I ate various foods, talked to myself, etc. I'd like to thank the fine people at Burger King
for giving me one of their delightful paper crowns before I was led away in
handcuffs.
Credit to kenji for the translation above.
Sailor Mars (3/16)
The other day I saw a commercial with David Bowie on television and was really moved by it. He's just as cool today as he was way back! As I was thinking "I want to record it [next time it airs]!" I realized that I don't have a VCR in my place...
I watch a lot of commercials for water
as well, but they don't move me. It takes an ad for toasted
subs to do that.
More credit to kenji for finding said commercial and for pointing out the
fact that Bowie held a concert in Japan earlier in the month, apparently. She
really likes the 80s huh. Wonder how worn out the copy of
"Labyrinth" back at home is.
Sailor Mercury (3/17)
We're gradually becoming acquainted with spring. It's the season of delicious strawberries. I wonder where Tokyo's famous cherry blossom trees are... In doing today's update I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if the sailor senshi could all go for o-hanami when the cherry blossoms bloom.
Spring brings many images to mind, but hearing it called the "season
of delicious strawberries" is a first for me.
The Toei
page says that she's passed her high school entrance exams and will be a high
school student next month. We here would like to congratulate Ms. Hama Chisaki
on that achievement.
進学おめでとうございます!!
And we sincerely hope your new school's cafeteria is well stocked.
Sailor Venus (3/27)
Recently the weather has gotten much warmer and I'm feeling good. Wouldn't it be great if it
[just] kept getting warmer from now on... Speaking of spring, it's o-hanami [season] isn't it. Today I was delighted to discover that the cherry trees are blossoming in Tokyo. They haven't bloomed in Iwate yet but I want to go do o-hanami with everyone soon.
Not all cherry blossom trees bloom in Japan at the same time; in fact,
they follow a pattern that sweeps northward across Japan in an event known as sakura
zensen or "the cherry blossom front." Information on when trees
are blossoming where in 2004 can be found on this
page.
