Act 23
Evil Mercury walked onto the stage where she had seemed to throw Sailor Moon
onto. Moon's eyes widen and look to her, carrying her ice sword. Usagi narrates,
"The enemy attacked Ami-chan and brainwashed her, so now Ami-chan has come
after us. But I just can't fight against Ami-chan!" Sailor Moon's power is
released from her brooch. "Rei-chan, Mako-chan, and I believe that when our
feelings for Ami-chan are brought together…" "Usagi-chan…"
"…we can definitely save her!"
Zoisite's stone glows in the Dark Kingdom.
When Mamoru and Hina enter his apartment, they hear a piano playing. "Oh
no, has someone broken in?" Hina says alarmed. "Stay here,"
Mamoru says calmly as he holds Hina's shoulders, influencing her to stay outside
the apartment. The piano playing continues. Mamoru closes the door warily and
flips on a light. The piano playing becomes stronger as Mamoru nears its source.
He looks into an open room and sees Zoisite playing a grand piano in the middle
of his living room. Zoisite goes on without noticing his presence. Mamoru then
says out loud and startled, "You are…" Zoisite turns his head to
Mamoru, "Master Endymion!" He continues to press the keys as the two
men's eyes are locked together.
I'm a moonlight real girl! Namiko said so!!
"I'm sure of it, master, it is you!" Zoisite says continuing his
song. "You are… that time!" Mamoru remembers Zoisite trying to
approach him after being shot by Venus' beam, saying "Master…
Endymion!" He faded away. Zoisite goes on, "Please remember when you
were called by the name 'Endymion'!" "Me?! Who are you? Do you know
me?" "I do, from a long time ago. Please calm down." Mamoru
glares at him. The piano keeps on playing. Mamoru watches intensely as Zoisite
plays as if he is trying to remember. "Mamoru! What's wrong?" Hina
calls. Mamoru flips around, and Zoisite's music ends. "Can I come in?"
"No! Hold on a minute!" Mamoru rushes calmly out of the room and
closes the entrance to it. He runs up to Hina and grabs her, causing a plastic
bag to be let go of and release many oranges among the floor. "Sorry,"
Hina says looking around at the oranges. She sets down her purse and helps pick
them up. As they pick up, Mamoru suggests, "Let's go outside and drink some
coffee." "That's fine, but what was the music?" "Huh?!"
Mamoru looks back toward the room where Zoisite was in.
In the Dark Kingdom, Zoisite sits in his room playing his piano - a different
tune. Beryl and the other Shitennou hear the playing and seem surprised.
"That piano is," Nephrite says. The playing goes on and Beryl says,
"Zoisite has awakened." "Zoisite," Kunzite says. "I
suppose it's because of the power of Queen Metaria has grown," Beryl says.
"The day of revival draws near." Beryl turns her attention to Jadeite,
"Good work on gathering such great amounts of energy!" "Yes, I will
gather more energy for my Lady Beryl." She nods then turns to Nephrite.
"I want to see why you're worth keeping around." Nephrite seems
shocked that she would say that, but then bows, "Yes, ma'am. The Phantom
Silver Crystal… Please give me more time!" Beryl glares at him. Jadeite
snickers, "I don't think the problem is time." Nephrite grimaces and
Kunzite smiles while squinting an eye. Nephrite glares at Jadeite.
Elsewhere, in another cave of the kingdom, Nephy complains, "I never
would have thought Jadeite would take Kunzite's side…" He sees Evil
Mercury around a corner. "If you want to be on Kunzite's side, I'll
consider talking with you." "Shut up! Who would want to get Kunzite's
help?!" "Well, work hard! But don't battle with the Sailor Soldiers
because are my target." She smiles and walks off. "Impudent
bitch," Nephrite mutters as Mercury walks off.

In the super secret karaoke room, Luna says, "If we cooperate, we can
save Ami-chan. When Sailor Moon's powers shone, the real Ami-chan appeared for
just a moment." Usagi remembers seeing Ami under the Evil Mercury form,
"Usagi-chan…" "If our power were to become bigger," Luna
says. Rei cuts in, "Because of that, we have to awaken as real soldiers
like Usagi did." "Exactly!" Luna says. "The power of you
soldiers can become much stronger!" Makoto nods. Rei does, too and then
remembers Venus saying, "Please remember your real soldier powers."
"How?" Rei thinks. She then starts walking up the steps to the
shrine. Once on the shrine grounds, she sees a mother and her daughter and she
smiles. The walk toward each other, "Good afternoon," Rei says. She
bends over to the young girl, "Ah, Nana-chan, you've left the
hospital!" Her mother says, "Yes! She is fine!" "Ah! I'm
glad!" "Minako Aino came by the hospital and sang a song!"
"Huh?" Rei then thinks, "Minako Aino was…"
Rei stomps up to the neighborhood hospital this show seems to like to take
place in a lot. Rei hears "C'est La Vie" playing somewhere. She goes
to where it's coming from. She looks into a window and sees her singing for many
young children. She finishes and everyone claps. The two soldiers' eyes meet
each other. Minako regains her smile and is swarmed by the children. "Could
I have your autograph?" this ADORABLE little girl in pink asks Minako. She
bends down and signs a magazine she has her face on. Rei enters the room.
"Here! Hurry up and get well soon!" "Thank you!" The
children line up and wait for a signing. Rei watches with cute, kind of sad
background music playing. THEN, another cute little girl comes up to Rei and
says, "Excuse me, may I have your signature?" "Huh? Oh, Minako
Aino is over there…" The older woman with the girl says, "Um, I
heard you were another talent who is joining the same record as Minako. Your
name is Mars Reiko, isn't it?" "Huh?" "Minako-chan told
me!" "EH?!" Minako looks over at Rei mischievously. Rei looks at
her angrily. Children with signatures leave and the woman who was talking to Rei
wished Minako good luck and Minako says, "Bye-bye!" Rei and Minako
come up to each other. "What's going on here? I am talent?" Rei says.
"You promised me that you wouldn't follow me any more." "I heard
you came to this hospital every month, and I thought something was wrong with
you." "Just to encourage the sick kids and a physical checkup."
"Every month?" "Just to take care of my health. Anyway, I didn't
think Sailor Moon would awaken before you." Rei is surprised. "I
thought you would be first," Minako continues. "Do you mean to say I'm
supposed to be the leader, but I'm too woeful?" "Guess so. The
spiritual problem is a big one in awakening the soldiers, but I think there's
something lacking in you." Minako begins to walk off, but someone shouts,
"Excuse me!"
A nurse runs up to Rei holding three kids' hands, "Minako told me that
you would be singing a song or two this afternoon for the children!" Rei
looks at Minako in shock, but Minako turns her head smiling. "All the
children are very happy, right?" the nurse says. The children say,
"Right!" The nurse nods to Rei who pulls Minako aside rather
forcefully. "Hold it, what did you say?" Rei whispers. "This is
your punishment." Rei glares at Minako. "Excuse me!" the nurse
calls again. "What do you need for the performance?" she says right
behind the girls. "Ah… Um, but I'm not famous!" Rei says smiling
nervously and waving her hands. "Oh, that's okay! We don't care,
right?" "Right!" Mars looks at the nurse nervously. "The
children staying here don't usually enjoy their stay, so it would be good for
them. We'll be waiting for you later on today! Let's go, kids," the nurse
says as she rushes the children off. Rei looks at Minako. She is clearly PO'ed -
positively outraged. Minako steps forward with an evil smile, "A leader's
power requires you soldiers to be cooperating." "I don't want to get
help from my partners for this afternoon." "Well, I have my
examination to get to. Good luck, Miss Mars Reiko." Rei looks at her with
rage and begins to run after her, but stops herself. She flings her arm down,
slapping her leg in anger, biting her lip.
In the secret karaoke room, Rei slams a couple of karaoke books down onto the
table, "I can do this." She turns her head suddenly to the karaoke
set-up on the stage, "An opening performance is easy." Rei picks up
the microphone, examining it. She hits the power button and lights appear on the
set. Rei presses buttons in a hurried manner. "C'est La Vie" then
blasts out of the speakers, causing her to fall of the stage with a yelp. Rei
drags herself up, balancing herself on a shelf with a speaker on it. When the
microphone and speaker came too close, a blaring sound burst out, causing Rei to
fall with a yelp again. "I will not lose!" Rei crawls back up onto the
stage and turns the volume up. We don't think she meant to because she then
falls again. Yes, she yelped and her foot went flying into the air…
Back at the hospital, Minako comes out of a CAT scan machine. A nurse helps
her sit up and walks to the other side of the room. Minako turns to Artemis,
"I bullied her too much." "You are…" Minako looks away and
a nurse comes up. "Miss Aino, we'll get an IV ready."
"Okay." The nurse walks into another room where two doctors are
examining the turnouts of the CAT scan. "I'm sure she only has six more
months to live." "Will you tell her about it?" "Yes."
Minako turns her body to Artemis, but before she can get down, her head begins
to hurt again. "Oh, Minako!" Artemis says, worried. Minako looks
around, "I'm okay…"

Mamoru unlocks the door to his apartment, and goes to turn the handle, but it
stops abruptly. He looks at the door and turns the handle again. This time he
was able to get in. He enters cautiously, looking down the hall, which lead to
where Zoisite was. He slowly enters his living room. No Zoisite. Mamoru sets
down a book and flat package on his table and sits at his couch. He leans back.
Zoisite begins to play a softer tune in his Dark Kingdom lair, "Please
remember that you were once called Endymion." "He was the one called
Zoisite… I definitely know him!" Mamoru leans forward and folds his
hands, "Endymion was my old name." Zoisite looks to his right as if it
were to Mamoru. Mamoru stands. "But," Mamoru says, "if I know my
past, what happened?"
Usagi drops her pen from her writing at her desk. Zoisite's music continues.
Usagi looks up.
Mamoru picks up his passport. "I have decided." The sound of an
airplane taking off ends Zoisite's piano playing.
Usagi stops looking forward and returns to her homework as if she had decided
something. Her cell phone goes off. She gets up and reaches for her bag,
"Hi, hi!" She answers, "Hello?"
In the secret karaoke room, Rei is on the other end, sitting on the ground,
leaning against the red couch with heart pillows. "Usagi! Ah, um, how are
you?"
"Huh? I'm fine… What's wrong?"
"I need your help."
"My help?"
"Yeah."
Usagi takes the phone from her ear and looks at it funny.
Usagi goes running into Crown. She pulls out her pass and shows it to
Kamekichi. She runs off excitedly. She pops into the secret room, screaming,
"Rei-chan!" Rei gets up from her spot on the floor. "Sorry to
keep you waiting!" Usagi sets down her bag and pulls out some karaoke
books, "I'm surprised you have a singing performance to do! We'll use
these!" Usagi sets down a set of CDs and Luna crawls out from somewhere,
giggling. "You've never shown your abilities!" "It's nothing. I
don't want to, but I will anyway." Usagi smiles widely, then says,
"Let's make a good performance!" Rei smiles uneasily.
In the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite sets a crystal down onto a rock on the floor.
"Show yourself, youma!" Nephrite holds up his hand and a light blue
energy glows from it. He holds it down to the rock and it begins to glow.
Back in the hospital, the nurse fidgets with Minako's IV. Minako lies in bed,
seeming to be very weak. Artemis crawls on top of her, "Minako…"
Minako shuts her eyes all the way.
In the secret karaoke room, Rei is singing to a song. Her body is stiff, and
she has an uneasy, angry facial expression. Usagi and Luna watch. They nod their
head in approval. Rei finishes the song with an easier face. Usagi leans her
head to one side, thinking. "Not good?" Rei asks. "That ways
good," Usagi says, "but your face… looks scary." Rei smiles
forcefully and nods as if to say, "ah, crap…" and she steps off
stage. She sets the microphone down on the table and Usagi gets up,
"Rei-chan, you really don't want to do this, do you?" "No. I'm
disappointed in myself." "That's just because you don't have enough
experience." "No, I mean I'm disappointed in myself because I asked
for your help." Usagi looks down thoughtfully and Rei walks behind her,
"My soldier powers will not awaken so long as I'm woeful like this."
"Rei-chan…" "Ah! It's time to get going!!" Luna says.
"Ah?! Really?!" Usagi says. "Rei-chan, let's get going!!"
Usagi picks up all of her stuff in a rush as Rei watches calmly.
"Rei-chan," Luna says. Rei then becomes nervous.

out of bed too, but I just feel stupid afterward and am glad no one's
watching. |
At the hospital, Usagi walks up happily while Rei follows stiffly. Children
gather in the room Rei will perform in. In the next room, Rei and Usagi look at
an outfit in Rei's cell phone. Usagi smiles widely and Rei looks at her
uneasily. "That one is fine!" "Yeah, yeah!" Luna reassures.
Rei nods. Usagi and Luna look into the room next door, "Ah! Amazing!"
Luna says as more people keep on gathering. Usagi smiles and turns back to Rei.
Rei nods and quickly presses the button to change into the outfit. "Ahh!"
Luna says excitedly. "There we go!" "You're so cute!!! Good,
good!" Usagi says giving Rei the thumbs up. Rei nods again as the music
begins to play in the next room.
Everyone is clapping and waiting for her. Rei looks at them anxiously. She
nods to herself and starts to head into that room, but Usagi stops her,
"Rei-chan…" Rei turns to her. "I'm glad you called me,
Rei-chan, for my help even if you didn't want it. I thought that you had trusted
me just a little bit." "Trust?" Usagi smiles, "When we
depend on somebody, we have to trust them." Rei looks at her in a bit of
shock. Usagi gets behind Rei, smiling and holds her shoulders, "Good
luck!" She then pushes Rei out into the other room. "Go! Go!"
Luna says. Everyone claps as Rei enters and gets onto the stage. "Something
is lacking in you as a leader," Rei remembers Minako telling her. "The
thing that was lacking in me," Rei thinks. Rei begins to sing. Her 'scary'
face is still on, just a bit. Her legs are spread a bit and she holds her hand
to her stomach. She becomes a bit more comfortable as she continues singing.
Usagi watches with a big smile.
An evil energy runs down a hall of the hospital growling.
"Ah! There's a youma coming!" Luna says. "Huh?" Usagi
says. She then looks to Rei who looks back at her, knowing of the youma's
presence as well. Usagi begins to gesture and mouth, "I will go so you can
follow later!" Rei looks at her not understanding. "Please sing one
song for them!" Rei looks at her, just singing. Usagi nods and runs off.
Rei continues to sing more powerfully. A pregnant woman in the audience rubs her
tummy and hugs her daughter-like figure.

The youma walks speedily down a hall in the hospital and Artemis feels it,
"Minako!" She jumps out of bed, "Venus Power! Make-up!!"
Venus pops out of a door, running from the youma. She pauses and fires her beam
at it. It breaks the beam and Venus looks at it disappointed.
"Princess!" Luna calls from Usagi's bag as she runs up a flight of
stairs toward the youma. Usagi looks at Venus and then Venus looks at the youma.
"Moon Prism Power! Make-up!!" The youma jumps down some stairs and
Venus and Moon follow. They run out into a more open space, which is
surprisingly deserted. The youma stops and Venus poses. Moon mirrors her. Venus
cartwheels by and Moon goes to kick the youma. The youma turns around and Venus
does a couple of spinning kicks. Moon grabs its back and kicks over her her head
to kick it. The youma stumbles away past a spinning Venus. The two Sailors
mirror pose and nod to each other. They cartwheel toward the youma and pose
again. Venus does her signature jump over the youma and land opposite of the
other Sailor. Venus blows on her handshape and moon does a similar pose. The
youma looks at the two worriedly. "Venus Love Me Chain!" "Moon
Twilight Flash!" The youma explodes into a green mess. Venus and Moon bring
their hands down from their attacks and notice that there is a green goop
holding their feet down. "What is this?!" Moon says.
"Princess!" Artemis shouts. "Sailor Moon!" Luna shouts. Moon
tries to get her feet unstuck, but then Luna gasps and Moon looks over to see
Nephrite smiling evilly. Venus looks over and gasps. Moon struggles some more
and Nephrite smiles evilly.
More make-up. This time, it's being used as glue…
"You fell for my trap, Sailor Soldiers," Nephrite
says. He walks past Sailor Moon and heads for Venus, "For you, how much do
I…!" "Princess!" Artemis shouts. Moon continues to struggle.
Nephrite holds his hand out to Venus. Suddenly, a blast of fire stops him.
Sailor Mars is on the other side of the room blasting him. Mars then flips over
him and the other two Sailors look at her. "Rei-chan!" Moon shouts.
She nods and as a helicopter's blades begin to turn, she says, "The soldier
of flames and passion, Sailor Mars! In the name of the planet Mars, I'll punish
you!" "Are you still alive?!" Nephrite says, walking away from
Venus. The two stare each other down. Mars then poses and Nephrite flips his
cape. Venus winces and Moon gasps. Nephrite concentrates blue lightning energy
as he growls. Mars just smiles and twists her hands cutely. Mars passes one arm
out through the air, creating an arc of fire. She passes the other arm out which
creates another arc of fire. Mars then holds her arms down and brings them up as
she turns, concentrating more fire. Red energy enters the brooch on her front
bow and she holds a ball of fire in her hands. "妖魔退散!!"
"Sailor Mars!" Luna says. Venus gasps as does Moon. The attack breaks
through Nephrite's and causes him to explode. Mars holds her pose in an area of
warmth. Sailor Moon notices her feet are free, and she and Venus run up to Mars.
"Rei-chan, I knew you'd come!" "Mars, your soldier powers have
awakened!" Luna says next to Artemis. "Sodlier's powers?"
"Yes. You've found the thing you were lacking," Venus says. Mars looks
to Moon who is smiling. Mars remembers Usagi saying, "When we depend on
somebody, we have to trust them. Good luck!" Mars then thinks, "Trust
my partners…" "But that's not everything. You need to remember much
more," Venus says. "You can do it, "Artemis says. The girls look
at him. Venus walks up to the kitties and takes Artemis and walks off.
"Princess!" Mars says hopelessly. "Rei-chan, you did it! When
Mako-chan awakens, we can save Ami-chan!" Moon says. Mars nods,
"Right!" "Well, let's go do some karaoke!" "I hate
karaoke." "Huh? But you just sang a song!" "That was a
one-time thing!" Mars says arrogantly, but cutely and walks off. "Ah!
Rei-chan!!" Moon runs after her.

In the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite struggles to walk down a cave. He collapses.
Evil Mercury walks up to and surprises him. "Don't look at me!"
Nephrite says. Mercury smirks, "Poor thing…" She then walks off.
Nephrite gets up and suddenly has a saw of some evil sort. He follows Evil
Mercury with it and yells as she turns around just in time to see him thrust it
at her. The moon cycle surrounds a shadow of what happens on the wall.
OMG, WHAT HAPPENS TO AMI-CHAN?!
Mamoru looks at the Tuxedo mask costume in his hand.
"I will meet this Endymion soon," Beryl says.
"I… am Mamoru Chiba," Mamoru says to Zoisite. "I don't need
my past." As he says this, Zoisite shakes his head, "Master!"
"Don't call me such a thing!!"
"Yeah, I'll be home soon," Mamoru says with Kunzite behind him.
"I will get revenge for everything," Kunzite says.
"But first, you, my master," Kunzite says holding his sword up to
Tuxedo Mask.
Mamoru gasps with wide eyes and he runs off. Usagi walks out into the street
with a car coming right for her. She notices it as it begins to skid.
