(Nineteenth Episode Synopsis)

traps with it... or so they think.

Act 19.
"I can feel… Queen Metaria's power!" Beryl says to Nephrite,
Jadeite, and Kunzite. She turns around suddenly. From behind Beryl's post, a
strong wind and black bubbles appear and come toward them. "The Dark
Door?" Kunzite says. "This is the door that leads us to Queen Metaria,"
Beryl says. Beryl walks through a passage with her generals behind her. She is
walking on a path, which hovers above a large pit. They see some sort of tower
with a red light emitting more white beams from its top. "Ah! That is the
sign of Queen Metaria!" Beryl says. She turns around and says to her
Shitennou, "Jadeite, Nephrite, good job!" They bow. "Yes
ma'am!" "We will gather more energy to awaken Queen Metaria!"
Jadeite says. "I will follow the Princess!" Nephrite says. Beryl nods
and the generals bow again. They then leave. "The Princess," Kunzite
says, "escaped from us cleverly." "If such a small girl
struggles, nothing will change." "Exactly. She will fall again."
"Kunzite, do you remember?" "About what?" Beryl glares at
him. "Jadeite and Nephrite look like they're working hard. I'll pull back
for a while," Kunzite says as he bows. Beryl's glare continues and Kunzite
leaves. "Princess, you cannot interrupt me this time!" Beryl says. She
then turns to look at the tower-type thing.
In Minako's hotel room, she goes to pick up her suitcase, but falls to the
floor next to the bed, weak. Artemis enters the room, "Minako, are you
okay?" "Yeah. We have to move again," she replies.
At the Hikawa Shrine, Rei is sitting before her sacred fire. "Why does
the Princess fight alone? Her fighting looks like she has given a chance to the
enemy." She remembers Venus say at the church, "I don't care. You are
to stay with Sailor Moon and the other soldiers at all times. Got it?" She
remembers her say before that, "I'm disappointed! You're not growing up as
a true soldier!" Rei's fists tighten.
Usagi is adding fringe to her muffler in her room. She pulls the whole thing
up, smiling, but then she looks sad.
Kirari rules!!

And the Hama, never flitting, still is
knitting, still is knitting... |
Ami is in the secret karaoke room, knitting. "Huh? Are you making
another one?" Makoto asks her. "Your homework is done."
"Yeah, but it seams that I like knitting and now I'm going to make
gloves!" "Hmm, are they for your mom?" "Uhh…"
"Should I give my assignment to someone? The color of it doesn't match me.
Usagi influenced me to buy that color. Has Usagi finished her muffler?" Ami
nods, "Yeah. She got it back from the teacher today." "I guess
she wants to give it to Chiba-kun. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day."
"Usagi-chan said," Ami says as she looks down, "she was just
making the muffler. It's for no one. She looks like she's sad." "It
doesn't matter because she loves someone with a girlfriend." Makoto seats
herself, "But she doesn't know that they'll be married in the near
future." Ami nods, "I think so; I didn't tell her." Makoto leans
back, "Ah, what should I do? We have to tell the truth, but…"
"Usagi said not to tell Rei-chan about Mamoru Chiba." "Okay. Rei
is severe about guy-talk." Makoto gets up, "And where is Rei?"
"She said she had to talk with Luna." "Why don't they talk
here?" "Dunno…" "Yeah," Makoto nods.
Outside the Shrine, Rei and Luna sit on rocks, talking. "The mission of
the Sailor Soldiers?" Luna says. "You told us that our mission was to
protect the Princess. Is that true? The Princess said we don't have to. The
Princess is strange." "Uhh, I'm wondering about that, too. I can't
contact Artemis, who is always with the Princess. We cannot move freely, we have
to obey the Princess' orders." Rei then gets up, "I cannot satisfy the
order, especially from the Princess." "Have you talked to the Princess
a lot?" "Not really. I feel that there is something wrong. I want to
meet the Princess and talk again!" "That's impossible because we don't
know who the Princess is." Rei looks down, then straight forward.
Minako sits at her laptop, editing a picture of her and 'Happy Valentine's
Day'. "I will put this picture on my homepage. The enemy will move
again." Artemis stands near her on the table, "How are you
feeling?" She looks at him. "We can take a longer break break,"
he says. "I'm okay. If I don't move, the enemy will concentrate on
attacking Sailor Moon and the other soldiers." "Yeah, exactly,
but-" Minako hands Artemis a present. "Oh, huh?" "Here you
are. This is Valentine chocolate." "Hehe, thank you!" It explodes
with some spring-action. "AHHHHHHHHH!!" Artemis screams with wide-friggin'-eyes.
Minako smiles and hands him a real present. "I lied. This is the real
chocolate." "Minako, come on… -.-" She giggles.
Usagi enters her room, which is dark, after taking a shower. She is rubbing
her hair with the towel, and then stops at her paper bag she was carrying
earlier, looking down. She reaches in and pulls out the muffler. She sits back
on her bed. "Valentine's Day…" She remembers seeing Mamoru walk out
of his apartment with Hina. "They are the better couple." Usagi gets
up and replaces the muffler.

You know Japan has gone too far when their commercials involve making kids
think they can change dresses instantly with a cell phone, animals made of fruit
make their clothes, teach kids that 小枝 can be read as さえ, that kids can be Sailor
Moon in the bedroom, and that lipstick creates a new suit and weapon upon waving
over a heart-shaped brooch.
Usagi enters the dining room, Good morning! Hm?" She sees a mysterious
young girl eating a salad at the table. She has a nametag on her shirt saying,
"Chibi-Usa". Nah, just kidding. Usagi rubs her eyes and Ikuko-mama
says, "Usagi! This girl is my friend's little girl. Her name is Hikari
Nozaki." "Ah, you've grown up!" Usagi says. "You are in
first grade, right?" Ikuko-mama says. "She's going to stay here
tonight, so please play with her, Usagi! Shingo escaped because he is shy!"
She laughs oddly while slapping Usagi's shoulder. She returns the slaps.
"Okay!" Usagi says turning to Hikari. "Hikari-chan, let's go to
my room when you finish eating." Hikari nods. In Usagi's room, she hands
Hikari some beverage, "Here you are." She goes to the opposite side of
the table and sits, "What do you want to play? A game? Cards? I always lose
against Shingo." Hikari shakes her head. "Well, do you want to draw
pictures?" Hikari shakes her head again. "Well then, what do you want
to do?" "I want to talk with you." "Huh?" "Have
you ever loved anybody?" "Huh?" "I'm suffering through
Valentine's Day." "Ah," Usagi says.
At Karaoke Crown, Motoki puts some turtle food next to Kamekichi's aquarium.
"This is a present from your girlfriend! Are you happy?" Kamekichi
doesn't move. Motoki pouts. "Why do you get a present and why am I left to
die?" Ami enters. "Hello!" "Welcome…" Motoki watches
Ami reach inter her bag and gets his hopes up that maybe she has a present for
him. She pulls out her pass and shows it to him. Motoki looks at her other bag
and sees yarn. She walks off. Motoki says, "There's no shape to the
chocolate." Kamekichi makes a sound like he farted.
"Hold on a minutes," Makoto says to Rei in the secret karaoke room.
"We're not finished talking yet!" Rei turns around from walking
upstairs, "I don't have to tell you anything! You don't have to worry about
that!" Rei then takes off, passing Ami. "It's not just your
business!" Makoto shouts to Rei, who isn't listening. "What's
wrong?" Ami asks. "She met the Princess, but she won't tell me
anything. I think having secrets between us is a bad thing." "I see.
But we have a secret being kept from Usagi." "That's a different
problem. Ah, when I think of Usagi, I feel depressed." Makoto then gets up.
"Are you going home?" "Yeah, I don't feel good. See ya."
Makoto lifts her backpack onto her back and leaves. Ami sighs.

Something tells me that if it comes down
to a North Pole showdown, Makoto won't fall into any traps dreaming about
this guy. |
Upstairs, Motoki is dropping some food into Kamekichi's box, saying, "I
envy you…" He then sneezes. Makoto comes by and sees him, "Excuse
me." "Huh?" She reaches into her bag and grabs her muffler,
"This was made as homework, but I don't like it. I'll be glad if you were
to have it." "AH!" Motoki squeals, "Can I?!" "A
thank you for the info! Bye!" "Kamekichi, look! I'm glad!!" He
goes on about how happy he is, fumbling with the thing. Makoto walks outside the
automatic doors and says, "I envy him 'cause he doesn't have any worries…"
She leaves as Motoki screams, "Amazing!"
"I see, you love a boy!" Usagi says holding Hikari's hand as they
walk down a plaza. "He is in my school. His name is Daichi Shimizu."
"So you want to get a chocolate for Daichi-kun, right?" "It's not
normal chocolate. If I give him chocolate, he'll surely love me! Can we find
some?" "That's difficult…" "Well, he loves another
girl." "Really?" They stop. "What's wrong?" Usagi asks
Hikari. She points into a shop where Mamoru and Hina are. "Ah.." Usagi
watches them then says, "Let's go." Hikari doesn't move. "That
person," Hikari says. "Huh?" "Daichi likes that woman."
"HUH?!" "Her name is Hina-san and she is his tutor." The
couple exits the store. "Ah!" Hina says as she runs up to Hikari,
"Aren't you Hikari-chan? Daichi-kun's friend!" she looks at Usagi,
"Hello!" Usagi has been avoiding eye contact. She nods her head.
"Let's see…" "Tsukino Usagi," Mamoru says. "Oh yeah,
Usagi-chan! Do you know each other?" Hikari looks down and Usagi brushes
her hair. "She is my mother's friend's daughter." "Ah, a chance
meeting," Hina says. "Oh, yeah!" Hina says as she reaches into
her purse. She pulls out a couple chocolate roses. "I got these in the
store, but here, you have them!" She hands one to each girl. "Thank
you," Usagi says hesitantly. Mamoru laughs a bit and Usagi looks at him.
"Well, see you later!" Hina says. The couple walks off. Usagi and
Hikari watch them. "I can't win against her," Usagi says. She peels
off the plastic wrap and goes for the candy, but then sees Hikari give hers to a
random little girl, "Here." "Thank you!" Such a cute little
girl! She bounces off all happy. Usagi watches surprised. "I absolutely
will not lose against such a woman!" Hikari says, flipping her hair back.
"No way!" Usagi says, wrapping her candy back up.
Do these commercials disturb ANYONE in that country?!
Usagi and Hikari are in a candy store. Usagi is looking at the different
chocolates and comments, "Everything is expensive." She sees different
packs for ¥2000, ¥1500, and ¥500 respectively. The ¥500 one is crap, but
Usagi suggests it to Hikari. However, she sees Hikari ask someone behind the
counter, "Excuse me, can I have this?" It's a huge chocolate heart for
¥5000. It looks kind of good and not pure friggin' milk chocolate!! Kind of
soft, actually… "Do you have money?" the lady behind the counter
asks. "Yes!" "Uh, Hikari-chan, are you okay?" "I
brought my New Years money!" Usagi nods uneasily.
Walking down the sidewalk, Usagi says, "Hikari-chan, I respect
you!" "Why?" "You said you would absolutely not lost against
Hina-san…" "Because I really love Daichi-kun." "I see.
Should I give someone something?" "Chocolate?" "A muffler. I
made it at school for my Home Ec. Class." "Giving a muffler that's
hand knitted as a first present makes a bad impression. I learned that from
TV." "Really?! Let me go buy some chocolate! I'm sorry, Hikari-chan!
Please come with me!" "Okay, no problem!" "Thank you!"
Across the street, Rei is looking at a TV. The TV lady spoke about famous
people's home pages and gave Minako's as an example. "Again?" Rei
says. "Why did she do such a thing?" Rei is referring to the location
in the background of the picture Minako is in. The enemy will know where she is.
"This is like a message saying, 'Oh! Please attack me!'" Rei then
stomps off, "I have to look for that place!"
In the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite and Jadeite talk about stuff.
"Princess?" Jadeite asks. "I've found her," Nephy says,
"I have a request for you." Jadeite looks at him. Nephrite smiles
evilly.
Usagi and Hikari walk down a street. "Hikari-chan, when I bought the
chocolate, using my money, my spirits rose so high! Hikari-chan, we can do it!
You're are so much cuter than Hina-san!" "You, too, Usagi-chan! You
are so much cuter than Hina-san!" "Really? Hikari-chan, good
luck!" "Okay!" Hikari then points around the corner, "This
way!" Usagi looks and her smile is lost. She sees Maoru on his bike, alone.
Hina and a young boy exit the gate behind him. Hikari looks on. Hina bends down
to be face-to-face with the boy. Hikari then looks down. "Don't play your
videogame too much!" Hina says poking the boy's forehead. Usagi watches
while Hikari bites her lip. Hina gets on the bike and take off. "He is
cool," Usagi says. Hikari starts to sniffle and cry. "Hikari-chan?!
What's wrong? Hikari-chan, you were strong; you said you wouldn't lose against
Hina-san! I see… You were sad. I understand. But, we came here!" Hikari
shakes her head, still crying. "Hikari-chan, what's wrong?!" The boy
says running over. Hikari backs away. "Hold on, you love Daichi-kun more
than anybody else, don't you?" Usagi says. "If so, don't give
up!" Hikari's sniffling stops, and she looks up at Daichi and walks over to
him. "What's up?" Hikari holds the bag out to Daichi as Usagi says,
"She came here to give this chocolate to you." The kids look at each
other, hikari waiting in anticipation. "Ah, thank you!" Daichi says,
taking the bag. "Let's eat in my house together! I have a new game!"
Hikari smiles as Usagi says, "Hikari-chan, are you happy?" She nods.
"Let's go!" Daichi says as Hikari wipes her tears. She runs off to his
house with him. She waves to Usagi and she waves back. Usagi then looks down at
her chocolate. "I… suck." Usagi then walks off with her head down.
At a park, Rei flips through a magazine. "It's wrong…" She
finally flips to a page with a picture of the place in the background of
Minako's picture. "Here it is!"

This guy's still around? It's been far
too long since a good, traditional tentacle youma. |
Usagi walks down a street with her head down, looking at the chocolate.
Someone screams in a really high-pitched voice, alerting Usagi. A youma similar,
but thinner, to the last one shoves people over. It then tosses them around.
It's mean… It then swipes its sword at them. That's mean, too. Although it
looked like some of the people just went right up to it… "Youma,"
Usagi says as she comes up to it. "The youma have never attacked people at
random! Moon Prism Power! Make-up!!" The youma turns to see Sailor Moon.
"I'm a pretty girl soldier in a sailor suit of love and justice! Sailor
Moon! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!" The youma and Moon stare
each other down and walk circles. Moon then charges at it.
Mamoru is on his bike, alone, and suddenly, he hears a sound, turning to it.
Hina comes up, "Did you hear that big sound?" "Yeah…"
Moon cartwheels and back flips around, then she stops and poses. The youma
swipes its sword at her a lot and tries to kill her, but Moon blocks and dodges.
The youma barely looks like it's trying. Moon kicks at it, then holds its sword
back. The youma throws Moon off, but she then turns around. "Moon Tiara
Boomerang!!" The tiara-boomerang hits the youma doing no damage. Moon gasps
as it charges at her again. Moon cartwheels away, stops, then winks with her
hand on her hip. She runs away, back flipping over the youma off a column. The
youma runs into it and holds its head. Moon looks up from landing and is
bewildered to not see the youma where she left it. "What the," she
says standing up. She slowly looks around, but then Tuxedo Mask's voice shouts,
"Sailor Moon, look up!" She obeys, and Tuxedo Mask runs toward her.
The youma is up in the air, but Tuxedo Mask hits it with his cane in midair,
before it can attack Sailor Moon, who twirls out from under it before it can
squash her. She then calls upon her Moonlight Stick and it appears from her
brooch. "Moon Twilight Flash!!" The youma explodes into a nasty mess
of tiny little purple fireworks. Moon lowers her arm and looks at Tuxedo Mask.
Jadeite had been watching from behind a column. He looks down, smirks, then
flips his cape and disappears.
Tuxedo Mask turns to leave and Moon gasps. She looks sad, but then, "I
got it!" She runs up to tuxedo Mask smiling. "Tuxedo Mask!" she
calls. He turns around to her. She has her little chocolates she bought with
Hikari. "This is for you because you always help me, and today is
Valentine's Day!" She holds the chocolates out to him, waiting for him to
accept. He takes them. "Don't you have any other boy to give this to?"
"Yeah, but I made a muffler for him. Although, maybe I won't give it to him…"
"Why not?" "He has a nice girlfriend and I cannot win against
her." She says this while smiling. "I see." "Ah, what am I
talking about? Why am I telling him this?!" Moon thinks to herself as she
has turned a bit away from Tuxedo. "I see, she also loves somebody
else," Tuxedo thinks. "Anyway, thank you for helping me!" She
nods, and then goes to run off. Tuxedo suddenly says, "You really
shouldn't," he says as Moon turns around, "…give up if you love
someone else." "Huh?" "You'll be able to give him that
muffler someday." Sailor moon looks at him. He then flips his cape and
walks off. "Tuxedo Mask…" she says out loud. "It's
strange," she thinks, "because my heart's not beating so hard, I can
talk to him more easily. He's still nice…"
As tuxedo Mask walks, he thinks, "Don't give up…" He stops,
"But I…" He's still holding the chocolates. He continues walking.
Outside, Mamoru walks up to Hina who is waiting by his bike. "…will
support her from within her shadow," He continues to think. Hina turns
around and smiles at him. He smiles back. "That's it," he thinks.
Outside, Usagi is walking, thinking, "I hope the day I can give him the
gift comes…" She smiles and keeps on walking.

This happened to me once.
That was an awkward day. |
Rei runs up to the building in the photos. She is running inside. She stops
and looks around. It's dark and she says, "Why has the Princess become a
decoy? Do I think about this too much?" Rei suddenly looks up, "The
enemy! I was right! Mars Power! Make-up!!" She starts off running like an
airplane, but then normally as she goes up some stairs. Once upstairs, she
reaches a corridor and finds Nephrite with his boot on Venus' back. She's on the
ground as if a boot has disabled her. Nephrite smirks. "Princess!"
Mars says. "You're too late!" Nephrite says. With his right hand, he
grabs Venus by the neck and pulls her up a bit. "Stop!" Mars shouts.
With his left hand, Nephrite then removes Venus' Princess Tiara. Mars gasps.
Venus struggles on the ground under Nephrite's foot. She is under Nephrite's
foot, she is under his command, because she is under his foot. Nephrite looks at
Mars, smiling evilly, as always. The moon cycle circles the pretty Princess
Tiara that was COMPLETELY new to any continuity.
Next time, if this were the anime Jupiter wouldn't have even shown up yet!
Usagi slides down a pendulum-swing-weee thing. She's then hit with a pink
ball as she runs. She gets hit again. Mamoru, Hikari, and Daichi are there.
"Dammit!" "Ahh!" "Are you okay?" Mamoru asks.
Usagi looks at Mamoru as they sit on a bench. She's happy! "It's a good
aura! This will… Maybe!" Makoto says from behind a wooden pole at the
park.
"I can awaken Queen Metaria with this," Nephrite says about the
Princess Tiara, "and get her for Lady Beryl!"
Usagi goes on to talk about the friggin' campaign.

Aaron's opinions: I think Usagi and Hikari seem to be becoming a bit rude to
Hina… If she weren't oblivious to their feelings, I don't think she'd be too
happy… Poor girl. I kind of feel sorry for her, being in the way of destiny
and all…
Namiko had this to say about women's suffrage, "Woman's suffrage is bad
because women will drop the big meat [babies] in the future!" We confused
her with the variants of 'suffer'. We're really mean. I was even unaware of it
before my sister said something. See how much I give a crap about my fag hags?
Woo! Alright! Thank you thank you Aaron and Namiko!!
