Live Action Sailor Moon (Eighteenth Episode Synopsis)

Act 18

Venus does the little blow-on-the-fingers thing and launches a beam at the youma. It gets pushed back a bit, but then breaks it. The youma then twirls its sword, and throws it by Venus. It misses her, but hits the wall behind her causing an explosion that throws her to the floor. "Ahh!" Artemis yells. The youma runs off, and Mars runs to Venus, "Princess! Are you okay?!" "I'm okay! You should hurry and get the youma! Follow it!!" "But… But are you okay?!" "What are you talking about?! You missed the youma…" She stands. "I'm disappointed in you." Mars' eyes go wide as she sits on the floor below Venus. "You are utterly not growing as a soldier!!" Venus shouts. Mars' face screams, "What?!" She looks down as Venus glares at her. Mars then looks back up at Venus with an evil glare.

Venus and Mars stand next to each other and converse in a hostile manner. "Sailor Mars," Venus says, "because you missed the youma, there will be more damage. If you were composed, you could have followed the youma." "That may be so, but you…" "You have to be someone who would chase the youma down! If you were such a soldier you could win against the youma." "If you fought harder I could have followed the youma. We were told that our job was to protect you, but I didn't know I was your nurse." "I don't want you to protect me." Venus then walks off.

Later that night, Minako is in a cab on her way home. "Minako," Artemis says, "We haven't been able to become friends with the Sailor Soldiers because we have to hide from them, but now one of them knows who we are." "I messed up. I was careless." She remembers Mars falling and herself running out onto the stage before transforming. She also remembered telling Mars she wasn't growing to be a proper soldier and the look she gave her. "That's why you were so rigid to Mars." "Yeah, but…" She remembers Mars yelling at her about being told to protect her, but she's really a nurse. "What she said sucks. She is aggressive towards me…" Minako's vision suddenly burrs as she holds her hand to her head. "Minako!" Artemis says. She begins to fade out. "Minako!"

"My new Kidz Bop Hatelisting website is up. Now the world shall know my spite!" "But Kids Bop was a Dark Kingdom plot to begin with." "Why do you think Zoisite is dead while you two are still around?"

At the Dark Kingdom, Kunzite says, "Jadeite, you said you would get energy, but you've lost to the Sailor Soldiers. You've done nothing productive." "It's not finished yet," Jadeite retorts. "I'm going to get massive amounts of energy from now on." "And I have found the Princess," Nephrite adds, "and the Phantom Silver Crystal to give to Queen Beryl." "I'm anticipating the moment you get it," Beryl says smiling and holding her hands together childishly. "That dream will come true if the two of you [Nephrite and Jadeite] work together." Those two bow. "The weaker person always says that," Kunzite says walking about having Jadeite and Nephrite looking back at him. "Kunzite!" Beryl yells. "You should shut your mouth!"

At Jûban Middle School, Usagi's Home Ec.-like teacher hands her the beginning of a muffler back and says, "Miss Tsukino, this is not a muffler, but a handkerchief." "Okay…" She takes it back and walks off to Naru who says, "What's wrong? You haven't finished the muffler? Are you still going to give it to Chiba-kun?" "Nah, I'm not going to… Because he has a girlfriend." Ami watches from the other side of the room. "No way, really?" Usagi then thinks, "Ah, what should I do?" She looks down at the paper her teacher gave her and the 'handkerchief'.

In the secret karaoke room, Ami says, "I see, Usagi-chan, you love him. So you couldn't finish." "When I bought this wool yarn, I imagined Mamoru Chiba, not Tuxedo Mask." She imagines placing the finished version of her muffler around Mamoru's neck and wrapping it around once. Usagi looks down as Ami and Makoto stare at her. She then sits, "So, when I tried to make this muffler, I always think of him, and I couldn't finish." "That's unbelievable because I thought you hated him," Makoto says. "I thought so too, but then I realized…" "Then when you realized your feelings, he already had a girlfriend," Makoto says. "And, will you give up?" Usagi looks at her, "Huh?" "Will you give up on Mamoru Chiba?" "Because she's really cute and looks kind," Usagi says remembering the girl. "That's not your problem," Makoto says as Usagi looks at her. "Loving Mamoru Chiba is better than loving Tuxedo Mask. We don't know how long they'll be together. Okay, I'll get some information." Usagi looks at her surprised. "No, don't! I'll-" "Usagi! You have to do whatever you can or you'll regret it." Makoto then takes off.

Don't accept rides from cowgirls.

Rei pulls up to the church on her bicycle. She gets off, smiling and pulls a bag of dog food out of the basket on the front. As she is about to enter, a taxi pulls up. Minako gets out and looks surprised that Rei is there. Rei glares at her. Minako notices that she has dog food and gets back into the cab, "Driver, please go." Inside, Rei pours a bowl for the dog. "Here we go, Tarou," Rei says as the dog, Tarou comes and begins to eat. "Are you hungry? Can you eat already?" "It is getting better!" the father says as they pet the dog. "I'm glad! Eat more!" A door is heard opening and Minako walks in with four boxes in her arms, covering her face, "Hello!" "Ah, hello!" the father replies. "This is for Rikkii," Minako says. She opens the top box as Rei watches and cans are inside. "This is 'Healthy Dog'. This is really expensive!" "Thank you very much for helping ["Thank you very much" was said in perfect English by that white man!]!" Rei looks at Minako and Minako smiles as she has outdone Rei. "I'm glad you're getting better, Rikkii!" Minako says as she pets the dog. "I have to find the dog owner at the morning mass. Many people join it, so I will ask them." "Well, I'll draw a picture for a poster!" Rei says raising her hand. "Ah, that's a good idea," father says as Rei smiles as she has outdone Minako.

Minako and Rei are walking together, leaving the church. Rei says to her, "You're the princess, but you compete like a child." "I am unyielding." "I see." "What about the youma?" "I don't know, I can't find it." "I see." "Why don't you work with us? We have been searching for you and I've found you." "Because I had to." They stop. Rei says, "If so, don't appear on a whim. You should hide from us. Leave the youma to us." "If you were good soldiers, I could leave the youma to you." Rei becomes angry and shows it in her face as Minako walks off.

Elsewhere, the youma walks around, looking into the sunset. A train blows its horn and it turns around.

"Huh? Mamoru?" Motoki's voice says. "Mamoru's girlfriend?" Motoki and Makoto are at some restaurant with outdoor seating. Makoto carries a plate with a crap-load of subs. "He has a girlfriend, right?" "Yeah, Hina-chan." "Hina-chan?" "She comes from a rich background." "Ahh." "Did you only invite me here to ask about that?" Makoto nods and Motoki makes a noise like that's all he's good for is transferring information from Mamoru to the girls of the Karaoke Crown. They sit. "You can eat all of this!" Makoto sets down the plate with the thousand subs. "Eat, eat!" She puts the plate down and holds up a bag, "And this is for Kamekichi! This is really expensive!" Motoki jumps up, "Ah?! Thank you!" He takes a sandwich, but before he can take a bite, he asks Makoto, "Ah, do you like Mamoru?" Makoto smiles, "No, no! My friend asked me." "Who?" "Ah, yeah…" "If so, you should tell her to give up. They are engaged." Makoto is shocked, "Engaged?!"

It's night and Mamoru is with Hina. "Tomorrow?" Mamoru asks. "Yeah. Tomorrow we have morning mass in the church, so please join me! If we continue to go for a few years, we can get married at that church!" she finishes embarrassed. She looks at Mamoru and continues, "Hey, when we were kids, do you remember when we pretended to get married? Since then, I have decided I want to be married in a church." She looks at Mamoru, but she feels embarrassed at the notion. Mamoru looks at her as she looks about embarrassed. "Hina…" Mamoru thinks. "She always looked up to me since we were children." He remembers playing with her when they were about 4-year-old. Todler!Hina said, "Mamoru-chan! Wait for me!" She calls this smiling as Mamoru runs before her with a stick in his hands. "I can't betray her," Mamoru says looking at Hina. They watch a boat sail by.

It's like a giant, clothing version of "The Cat in the Hat's" top-hat.

In Usagi's room, she sits in her pajamas working on the muffler. She stops and remembers her initial encounters with Mamoru, saying she's not a model, and him saying who would think such a thing. She remembers him saying she was looking the wrong way from the episode Ami became Mercury. "Tsukino Kobuta." "It's Usagi! Usagi, Usagi, Usagi!" "Usagi, get on!" Usagi sighs as she remembers these moments. "Why do I love him?" she says. "I don't want to…" She plops down onto the large pillow next to her.

At Minako's place (I still think it's a suite she has while she's run away), she is painting at a poster for the lost dog. "I took care of that dog, too!" she says. "Minako, you're thinking about it too much," Artemis says. "We're not friends, rather, opposites." "You are also unyielding." "Why did the youma attack the Father?" Minako says as she pauses from painting. "Maybe just coincidence or…" "What if it wasn't coincidence?" Minako looks at the word "mass" on her poster. Gee, I wonder what she could be thinking…

Squirt commercials with cow milk! Fresh cow milk!!!!

People crowd in for the morning mass. Rei hangs up her poster on the wall. Her kanji is really neat and perfect. "We've been unable to find the youma," Luna says sitting in the basket upon Rei's bike. "They'll hide from us as long as they need to," Rei says. Rei rips another piece of tape, but notices Minako putting up her gigantic poster. "Hey, what are you doing?!" "Why did the youma attack the Father?" Minako asks. "Huh?" "I see, if they have a purpose," Luna says. Rei looks back at Minako. She taps her hand below the word "mass" which is in large blue letters on the poster. Psuedo-Mission Impossible music plays and the girls look at each other. Rei realizes what Minako's getting at and turns to Luna, "Luna!"

People enter the chapel and seat themselves in the pews. "See? This church looks good, doesn't it?" Hina says to Mamoru as they enter. The Father gets behind the altar as Mamoru and Hina seat themselves.

"Huh?! Fiancée?" Ami says as she seats herself in the secret karaoke room. "Yeah, she is engaged to him. I told Usagi not to give up, but I can't tell her about Hina's position because it'll break Usagi's heart." Usagi is lying on her bed, sad. Her heart is pounding, "Why? Why is my heart beating so strongly?" She remembers Mamoru looks back to her. Her eyes widen and she gasps as she answers her Teletia S. "Oh, that's the cell phone!" she thinks. "Everyone, get to the church quickly!" Luna's voice announces from the other end. Usagi gets up and leaves. She closes her phone. Makoto closes her phone. Ami closes her phone.

This week's youma was guest-starred by the Emperor from Star Wars.

The Father reads from the bible all godly talk and Namiko can't understand very well. Something about tired people coming to see Me. "I'll give you break time," the Father continues. "Now, let us pray." Everyone folds their hands and bow their heads, closing their eyes. The Father's eyes glow purple and a funky yellow, "The power of your prayers will be offered to Queen Metaria as energy!" The youma separates itself from the Father who falls to the ground. It waves its sword over the crowed, causing them to collapse. Mamoru looks up with a weird grimace, "It's a youma!" The youma launches the energy from the people and sends it outside to the Dark Kingdom. Mamoru wakes Hina. They run away with the youma following them.

Elsewhere, Usagi is running down the sidewalk. She runs up a stair case and meets up with Makoto and Ami. They keep running and Usagi spots Rei below. She joins them as Usagi calls her name. They stop as they see energy being cast from the summit of a tower attached to the church. "Hurry!" Rei says as they begin to run again. "Moon Prism Power!" "Mercury Power!" "Jupiter Power!" "Mars Power!"

Mamoru and Hina are chased into the gym. Mamoru maintains that weird grimace. The youma swipes its sword at them and they fall. "Hina!" Mamoru grabs her hand. She is unconscious. Mamoru's nose is moving upward with his grimace as the youma steps nearer. "Stop right there!" Moon yells. The youma flips around and Mamoru and Usagi meet eyes. Usagi is shocked to see Hina. Mamoru faints. Jupiter runs forward. "Flower Hurricane!" The youma blocks the attack. The girls step forward, but Jadeite calls, "Don't interrupt!" He fires a yellow energy at the soldiers and they fall to the ground. "Jadeite," Mercury says. "I've been revived to defeat you," Jadeite says. "Nephrite!" Jupiter thinks as he appears. "Aren't you with the Princess?!" The youma jumps down from the stage behind Nephy and Jadeite. The girls back away as they walk toward them. The Sailor Soldiers then swirl around each other. Jadeite follows them with his eyes, but Nephrite looks a bit concerned. They youma tries to attack, but the girls spin through the barrier of the youma and Nitennou. The three then zap the girls with yellow lightning. Mercury falls and Nephrite smiles. Jupiter falls and Jadeite smiles like the right side of his face is paralyzed. Moon and Mars were already on the ground. The three enemies start to walk forward. "Hold on a minute!" Venus' voice calls. They all look up at the window high above with the sun causing Venus to be silhouetted. Kirari*Sailor Dream starts to play again (CD version!). "Are you looking for me?" Mars stands up, looking at Venus. Moon stands and says, "Princess…" Nephrite's eyes are wide and Jadeite looks rather jaded. Jupiter stands up, followed by Mercury. "Why?" Mars says. Venus looks at her and Nephrite says, "Princess, I've been searching for you!" Venus glares at him and jumps down suddenly. The enemies step back for they are frightened by the girl in orange with a shiny tiara on her head! Venus looks over sharply at the other Sailor Soldiers Mars glares back. Jupiter, Moon, and Mercury also look at her. The five all pose under Venus' lead. Three times. Venus then runs away. O.o Mars follows her and Jadeite and the others launch more lightning at them. They cartwheel to dodge. Mars and Venus meet eyes. Venus runs out of the gym. "Follow her!" Jadeite calls and the youma obeys. "Everyone, please take care!" Mars says as she follows the youma. The others nod. "Got it!" Jupiter says. Moon notices Nephrite and Jadeite try to follow and gasps. Mercury and Jupiter jump over them, blocking their path. "You're not going anywhere!" Jupiter says. "Damn you!" Nephrite says, and then looks back at Moon. The Nitennou are surrounded.

No no no! This isn't a good Another Story formation. You need to have Jupiter toward the front, and Mercury near the back.

The youma runs into the chapel following Venus who is back flipping.  She stops and holds her hands on her hips.  The youma plays with its cape and she fires a couple crescent beams at it.  They are broken by its sword, which fires its own beams at Venus.  She falls.  Mars enters and sees the youma approach her.  She yells, “Princess!” and cartwheels super fast and then stands between the youma and Venus.  Venus gets up.  The youma fires some more beams, but the Sailors avoid them with cartwheels.  “Princess, please attack with me,” Mars says.  Venus nods.  They flip and place their hands on the other’s shoulder.  Venus does the blow on the fingers thing with the cute little noise.  Mars copies with the noise.  She’s not cool enough for the noise…  ;_;  Mars twirls back into the beginning pose for Akuryô Taisan and Venus runs toward the youma, jumps and flips over it, landing behind it.  The youma is scared as Mars winks at Venus and she returns the wink.  “妖魔退散!!”  She did Youma Taisan instead…  Benus twirls and grabs the chain on her hips.  “Venus Love-Me Chain!!”  The youma explodes from their combined attacks.  Venus and Mars look at each other.

In the gym, Nephrite and Jadeite attack the other three girls. They are hit and fall to the ground. "You cannot be my enemy; you're too weak," Nephrite says. "Let's attack at one point," Mercury suggest to the other two. "There!" Moon nods. "Mercury Aqua-" "Supreme-" "Moon Twilight-" "MISTTHUNDERFLASH!!" Their attacks hit Nephrite, but only nock him back a bit. He laughs very strangely… "Huh?" Mercury says. "Hmm?" Jupiter says. "HUH?!" Moon says. "Wait, where were you aiming?" Jupiter asks. "Here," Mercury says patting her left shoulder. Moon looks at her. "Yeah, here," Jupiter repeats the motion. Moon looks at her, "Huh? Not here?" She points to her head. "No, right here!" Jupiter says as Nephrite and Jadeite walk closer. "Okay, I got it!" Moon says. "Please," Jupiter says. Moon nods. "Mercury Aqua Mist!!" "Supreme Thunder!!" "Moon Twilight Flash!!" Their combined attacks nock Nephrite down. They all walk toward him with determined looks. "How dare you…!" Nephrite grunts. "We don't care, we got the energy!" Jadeite says as he flips his cape. They both exit with that. The girls stop as if their disappearance wasn't going to happen. Moon looks back and sees Mamoru and Hina.

Mars walks sternly up to Venus, "I thought I told you not to appear before us on a whim. We have to protect you." "I told you that you don't have to protect me." "You would have been in danger if I didn't follow." "I don't care. You are to stay with Sailor Moon and the others at all times! That's an order from the Princess!" Venus then turns around and leaves with Mars looking after her.

Hina and Mamoru's hands are held together. "Usagi, this is… It's," Jupiter starts. Moon just walks closer to them. She is smiling. "I envy them," Moon says as she smiles, looking at their hands, then Mamoru's face. "Loving people is a good thing, isn't it?" Jupiter's gaze moves from Moon to the couple. She nods. Mercury nods as well. Moon gets down on her knees and heals them with yellow light from her hands. Mamoru's eyes twitch. Moon watches him. Mamoru's eyes open, then Hina's. Moon smiles. Mamoru's attention is brought to Hina as his upper body jumps up. "Hina!" Her head rises as her eyes widen. Mamoru turns his head expecting to see Sailor Moon, but only gets a church bell. In the chapel, Mamoru and Hina run in to see people getting up from the floor. Hina looks worried as she looks up at Mamoru who glares at the scene.

Later that night, an older gentleman and a little girl hold possession of the dog that Rei and Minako had been taking care of. The older man says, "Say 'thank you'! Are you happy?" "Thank you!" she says as they take off. Rei and the Father stand at the entrance bidding farewell. In Rei's mind, Venus' voice repeats, "You are to stay with Sailor Moon and the others at all times! That's an order from the Princess!" "Why does she get into it like that? Even if she is the Princess," Rei thinks. "Like a decoy…"

Minako is packing again, with Artemis saying, "Moving again? That's really hard to attract the enemy and escape them at the same time…" "Exactly, but as I watch Sailor Moon, I don't think it will be a long time." "Yeah, hopefully." Minako stands up straight, "I'm looking forward to Mars' reaction then." She smiles lightly. "Minako, it's not your mission to become closer friends. You don't want to anyone to be saddened. Minako…" "Six more months…"

Usagi continues on her muffler. She struggles to get a thread onto one of her hooks. Her muffler has finally become long. She smiles and makes playful faces as she continues with it. "Loving people is a good thing, isn't it?" she remembers herself saying. She smiles lightly.

In the Dark Kingdom, Kunzite, Nephrite, and Jadeite stand before Queen Beryl. "I feel… The power of Queen Metaria!" Beryl says as she raises her arms. She flips around to look into the light behind her with a concerned look on her face. A wind blows past her. It is strong enough to be blowing the guys' capes. Black balls of energy fly past them from the blue light deep within the cave that has been behind Beryl. "The door of darkness," Kunzite says. "This door leads to queen Metaria!" Beryl says. The black balls keep flying out. The Moon cycle surrounds the four.

OH MY GOD! The previews!!!

"Tomorrow is Valentine's Day," Makoto says.

"Valentine's chocolate," Minako says as she hands a red present to Artemis.

"There's no shape to the chocolate," Motoki says in a silent, orgasmic, creepy voice.

"I'm worried about Valentine's Day," a little girl says to Usagi who is nodding her head like, "Come on, hury up, you're Japanese, you know how to speak the language!" or "You're like 4, why are you worried about it?!"

"Today, I went to give the Valentine's Day chocolate," Hina says to a little boy who is holding a green present. Usagi and the little girl watch from across the street, though the little girl is looking down.

"Well, I gotta get chocolate," Usagi says to little girl.

Moon stands up and winks with a big smile.

"Nothing changes even if the small girl struggles," Beryl says. "Jadeite and Nephrite look like they're working very hard!" Kunzite says.

"This is appreciation for you always helping me and today is Valentine's Day!" Sailor Moon says to Tuxedo Mask. She then holds out her hands with a present in them to Tuxedo Mask. It looks too small to be the muffler.
