Live Action Sailor Moon update (Episode 18 preview)

The Act 18 preview is go at the official Live Action Sailor Moon page and so it has stopped here, but in English. Also passing around the board today are a few diary entries.

Sailor Venus rebuked Sailor Mars for allowing the Youma to escape. Mars can't conceal her shock at both her forceful tone, or Venus' real identity. And as they compete with each other while taking care of the dog, the relationship between Rei and Minako grows delicate.

Meanwhile, Makoto, thinking to help out Usagi's love life, begins collecting intelligence. Deftly she goes to Mamoru's friend to hear about the girl he's been with. It comes to light that she's his fiance! This isn't the kind of thing that Makoto could bear to say to Usagi. Yet at this moment, in the church, there are indications of the youma...

Good times; thanks to Claudia for some clarifications. With credit to taka j, there's an update at the official Sailor Moon site that deserves a bit of an explanation- the Pretty Guardian campaign.

You too can now join the campaign against the Dark Kingdom, provided you live in Japan and participate in between 2/15/04 and 5/14/04 and follow all rules and regulations as stated on the page, by buying Sailor Moon stuff and then sending the UPC-like symbols in for a chance to win trinkets, tickets to a "special live event," etc. It's an utterly original thing to do.

Sailor Jupiter (January 22nd)

I got to go [back] to Okinawa! Not on a family visit, but as part of a field trip! (laughs) Why you'd go to Okinawa for a field trip is beyond me though. I got to meet my friends, and, it's just so true, the warm ocean was very pretty. It was the best field trip ever!

This would likely be why the diary was delayed for two weeks.

I'm lovin' it. Wait, why'd I think that??

Sailor Moon (January 26th)

Good afternoon! This is Sawai, in charge of Mondays. So, why don't we head to the [film] location and speak to Tsukino-san? Tsukino-saaaan? Haaaai! Good afternoon everyone! I was so glad to have made up with Ami-chan in episode 16. And, and at the [film] shoot location there weren't any words for reconciliation [needed]. All of us are such good friends already. And we're going to keep doing our best, as friends.

Sailor Mars (January 27th)

Today, for the first time, I got to hear the CD I sung on!! I was so happy. Due to the help of all the staff who helped put the CD together, it turned out to be a really great tune. The song is called "Sakura*Petal Storm" and it's got a beautiful, poetic-like melody; please listen to it soon everyone. And please look forward to hearing it being played in the Sailor Moon TV program. [Credit to Kenji for song clarification]

I'm looking forward to the Keiko Kitagawa Lean Mean Grilling Machine. Burn out the fat with its patented system!
