Action Sailor Moon update (Fourteenth episode synopsis)

for this! Especially in being able to pull it off while sick; give them a
round of applause! I'm always appreciative, amazed, and grateful at the speed at
which these synopses can get prepared. Aaron, Namiko, and Claudia are
incredible in being able to pull such feats off.
Synopsis is first, and the notes from yesterday are below it. By the way, Serecindra
has got the Act 14 storyboards ready for you, so be sure to check up on then.

Act.14
The curtains open to show Luna, the narrator for what
happened last few episodes! “We
have finally found Sailor Venus, our Princess!” Images of V becoming
Princess Venus and her killing Zoisite and her smiling at the other three
soldiers from Act.12. “We
defeated one of the Shitennou with Venus and we’ll continue to protect the
Earth, but…” “Who are
you,” Sailor Moon said to Kunzite as he walked down toward her.
“Dark Kingdom, one of the Shitennou, Kunzite!”
He blew a piece of hair and it wrapped around Moon’s neck as Tuxedo
Mask came up. It seeped into her skin and she became controlled by it.
“Oh my God! Sailor Moon
will become a youma!”
Tuxedo goes to grab her arm, “Sailor Moon!” and she
knocks his arm away. She raises
her arm and slowly walks toward Tuxedo Mask.
He backs away as she slowly comes closers.
The jewel in her tiara suddenly shines and stops her.
Her eyes glow purple and she appears to ‘wake up’.
“What the…” Luna
comes up, “Sailor Moon!” She
looks at her. Sailor Moon then looks back at Tux, “Tuxedo Mask!”
“Have you returned to your real self?”
“Huh?” “Maybe,”
Luna says, “The Sailor Soldier power in Sailor Moon won over the power of
the youma. Sailor Moon, are you
okay?!” She nods, “Yeah.
I’m fine.” She turns
to Tuxedo Mask, and he asks, “Are you really okay?”
She nods a bit, “Yeah…” The
hair appears for a moment, and then seeps back into her skin.

Kunzite walks up to
Beryl and Nephrite who is standing before her. “Lady Beryl, I am here now.”
(He really used what the Japanese say for “I’m home!”)
“Finally, you come here! I
thought you would live in the human world, but…”
“You put up a hard fight with the Sailor Soldiers.
It seems that only this guy is left.”
“Kunzite,” Nephrite says, “You are unacceptable, so if you do not
go for Queen Beryl’s love, you will be killed.”
He is stopped by Kunzite pulling his sword onto his neck.
“You will know whether I am acceptable or not very soon.” Kunzite swings his sword around and holds it at his side, he
then walks up onto Beryl’s post and wanders around her, “Lady Beryl, why
don’t you use the Sailor Soldier’s energy to revive all the evil?”
“What?” “Please
entrust me with the restoration of the evil.
Lady Beryl, please have a rest, you look tired.”
“Get back!!” “You
are rude!” Nephrite says. Kunzite
bows arrogantly and walks off with Beryl glaring at him.
In the secret
karaoke room, there are New Years decorations all over. Luna tries to climb up onto one, slips, then gets back up.
The girls are sitting around a couple tables.
“School has begun, but it still feels like New Years,” Ami says.
“That’s okay,” Usagi says, “Rei-chan was busy January 1st
so now is her New Year!” “Yes!”
Rei replies. “We helped
Rei-chan, with Usagi excluded,” Makoto says.
“Er— Don’t worry
about last year! Now, let’s
start!” Usagi yells. They stand
with drinks. Usagi is in a cute,
orange kimono, looking at every one else.
Ami is wearing a blue kimono, looking back at Usagi.
Makoto is wearing a green kimono, looking at them, and Rei is wearing a
friggin’ adorable red kimono. “Happy—,”
Usagi starts, and everyone else joins in, “New Years! Cheers!” Usagi
flips around and sings karaoke to “C’est La Vie.”
Ami now has braided hair, and is clapping with the music.
Makoto has a couple maracas in each hand, shaking them.
Luna taps a tambourine, screaming, “Here we go!”
Rei sighs in boredom, but under the table is swaying a decorative stick
of some sort to the music. Usagi
runs down and grabs Ami, shocking her. She
pulls her on stage, hands her a mic and starts singing again.
Ami soon joins. They
finish the line and Usagi throws her arms up and jumps up and down.
The scene changes and Makoto is singing what seems like Minako’s new
single. Luna is on her shoulder
and echos a line as Makoto holds the mic to her, then continues with her.
“Hey Rei-chan, let’s sing because it’s the new year!”
Ami looks over and smiles at the bickering.
“I hate karaoke!” “Over
and over!” Usagi says as she shoves Rei.
“You are insistant…” “Please,
please sing!” “I don’t want
to!” “PLEASE! Let’s
sing, Rei-chan!”

Makoto sees her
pulling rather abusively on Rei and stops singing, “Hold it!”
The two stop. “Are you listening to me?!”
Ami looks at her with an odd face and the three girls sitting lean back
into their seats, but Usagi pushes Rei again, “Rei-chan, you weren’t
listening!” Rei pushes back and
they bicker about that. Makoto
sighs and gives up. Later, Usagi
raises up her arms, and passes a many-ballooned ball, shouting, “ATTACK!!”
It crashes into a Jenga puzzle Rei and Ami have been playing with.
They look back with the urge to kill rising.
Usagi pouts as someone’s character song plays.
The scene switches to Ami and Rei holding Makoto back and Usagi comes
up to her with a tube of lipstick. She
escapes and runs off with Usagi chasing her.
The scene changes again, and Rei is wearing her Nakonako hat. “KUPI!” she says in her creepy deep voice.
The other girls are all Nakonako’ed up and shout, “KUPI!”
Ami looks constipated… “No,
no!” Rei says. They bitch and
then Rei says, “Try again!” “KUPI!”
A picture is taken. Ami
looks incredibly uneasy during this scene.
Ami holds up a package to Usagi, “Here!”
Usagi takes it and everyone is eating pudding!
PUDDING! Anyway, Usagi
takes a bite and says, “Delicious! Thank
you Ami-chan!” They eat more,
then Usagi and Makoto spasm. “DELICIOUS!”
Usagi says. Another picture is
taken. In another scene, Usagi
runs up on stage, and screams into the mic, “Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan,
Luna! I LOVE YOU!” They smile “Please
take care of me this year, too!” The
sound is warped and it hurts their ears.
While the three girls clutch their eyes, Usagi passes out.
They look behind them to see Usagi on the floor.
“Usagi-chan!” Ami screams. “What’s
wrong with her?!” Rei says. “Usagi!”
Makoto says as she holds up her body. “I’m
sleepy…” Usagi says, then loses consciousness again.
“Huh?” Makoto says. The
hair appears again, then returns. Rei
is shocked, “What is that?!” “Oh
no!” Luna says, “I though that disappeared, but it didn’t!”
“What are you talking about?” Makoto says.
“Usagi-chan, hang in there!” Ami says.
Commercials.
The girls hover
over Usagi. “Humans change into
youma?” Ami says. “I can’t
believe that that enemy is doing such a thing to Usagi!” Makoto says.
“But her soldier powers saved her from the youma’s power?” Rei
says. “I thought that, but the
power of the youma is getting stronger and stronger and overcoming the soldier
power. Now the two powers are
fighting in Usagi’s body.” “If
the soldier’s powers lose…” Rei says. “Usagi-chan will become a
youma!” Ami is shocked. “Is there any way to save Usagi?” Makoto asks.
“Only Sailor Moon’s power can return a person to their real shape
from a youma. We have no choice
but to believe in Usagi’s powers.” A
purple energy appears at the front base of Usagi’s neck, leaving a tattoo.
Ami gasps, then shouts, “Usagi-chan!”
Makoto shoots up, “Where did that Kunzite go to?
If I kill him…” “He was at the concert hall, but now he’s not there…”
“I will find him. I can’t just stay here.”
She walks off with her jacket, up the stares, and then runs out the
door. Rei also pops up, “Me
too! I don’t know how much
power I can use, but I will try. Ami-chan,
please take care of her.” Ami
nods and then Rei follows Makoto’s procedure.
Luna looks to Ami, “Everyone…”
Ami looks back at Usagi, “Usagi-chan,” she hold up Usagi’s hand
in her own, “You’re cold!” She
checks her pulse with her thumb (BAD DOCTOR!
Never use your thumb to check another’s pulse for there is an artery
in your thumb, which may detour you from the other’s).
“Her heartbeat is slowing! I
have to keep her warm!” She
looks around with a worried ‘I don’t know what to do’ look.
She then looks back at Usagi with a more determined face.
Mamoru enters the
Karaoke Crown. “Hey, Mamoru!
What’s up?” Motoki greets him.
“I was just in the area…” “Recently,
Kamikichi has been inactive. Should
I go for a walk with him?” Mamoru
isn’t listening and is looking down the hallways.
He remembers Kunzite blowing the hair and it inserting itself into
Moon’s neck. “Is she really
okay?” Mamoru thinks as Motoki said, “Thank you for looking for him
before!” Ami then is exiting the Karaoke room holding Usagi up and
moving slowly. “What’s
wrong?” Motoki says. “She’s
just sick,” Ami says as Mamoru rushes to help Usagi back into Ami’s arms
as the frail girl began to lose grip of Usagi.
He sees the hair appear and disappear.
“I will take her onto my back.”
“Huh?” “He is my
friend, so don’t worry,” Motoki tells Ami.
“But…” Mamoru turns
his head to her, “It’s better than her getting injured.”
He walks off and Ami follows. He
is walking down a path with Ami right behind him.
She adjusts Usagi’s jacket. Mamoru
sets her down in Ami’s bed and Ami covers her, “Usagi-chan! It’ll be okay! Please
don’t worry!” She is rubbing
her upper arms through the covers as she says this.
She goes to get something and leaves Mamoru in the room.
He looks down at her. Ami
rushes past him, startling him a bit. She
has given her another blanket. “Usagi-chan!
Good luck!” “Bye,”
Mamoru says as she leaves. “Usagi-chan!
Usagi-chan!” Ami says trying to awaken her.
Mamoru closes the door and thinks, “Will she change into a
youma…?” He leaves.
Ami sets up a
program on her computer to read Usagi’s life signs, “Okay…” She picks up a pulse detector to attach to her finger, pulls
out Usagi’s hands, and sees that her fingernails have grown.
“It’s getting bad! She’s will become the youma soon!” Luna says.
Ami attaches the detector anyway and goes to the computer.
“Just as I thought, her temperature is below normal!”
“Ami-chan, please keep her as warm as possible!”
She nods and replaces the covers, “Usagi-chan, please wait.”
She goes to get something.
At Rei’s shrine,
she starts a fire. “I have to
kill the power of the youma somehow,” Rei thinks.
Makoto is running
across a bridge somewhere, “Usagi, don’t become a youma!”
Back in Ami’s
room, she has several heaters aiming at Usagi, warming the room as much as to
distort the light. She kneels at
Usagi’s side, holding her hand. “Usagi-chan…”
She hears crows cawing outside and looks in the direction of her
window. She sees that it’s
becoming dark outside, “I have to call Usagi’s house.”

At the Tsukino
residence, Ikuko has music going and she’s doing her aerobics with
dumbbells, hears the phone ring and answers, “Hello!
Ah! Ami-chan! Is Usagi going to
spend the night at your house?” she says as she gets one of the dumbbells
out to continue on one arm, “That’s fine.
What is Usagi doing at your place?”
“Ah, she can’t say anything, her voice has been strained from
singing too much.” “I thought
so! I told her because she was sick this morning!
Well, please take care of her!”
“Okay! Goodbye!”
Ikuko hangs up and Ami slowly hangs her phone up.
“Mah!
She is a stupid daughter!” Ikuko says as she works her arms.
The phone rings and she goes for it again, resting the dumbbells on her
chest, “Hi, hi! Tsukino
residence! Ah, Naru-chan, good evening!”
Ami turns on the
light in her room. She walks back
over to Usagi and think, “I told a lie to Usagi’s mother…” She looks down at Usagi’s hand and sees that her
fingernails have returned to normal. “Ah!
Her temperature is rising! She
is fighting very hard, so I…” The
doorbell rings and Naru is outside. She
opens the door and Naru says, “I’m sorry to visit you at night, I heard
from Usagi’s mom that Usagi is here…
Today Usagi was supposed to return a CD to me, and I really need that
CD tomorrow.” “Huh, wait just
a moment.” Ami closes the door.
She returns shortly with a CD case, “This?”
“Huh, where is Usagi?” “Uh…” “That’s too strange for her to not come see me.
Have you told Usagi that I’m here?”
“Uh…” “You
haven’t?! Don’t you want me
to see her?” “No way!”
Naru pokes her head past Ami, “Usagi, you’re here, aren’t
you?!” Ami pushes her out,
“Don’t do that!” Naru slams
into a wall, “What the hell…” “Usagi-chan
is sleeping. If you think
that’s a lie, I don’t care if you think of me as being mean.
So please…” Outside,
Naru walks out of the building, pauses and looks back up, “What’s going
on? I’ve never seen such a side
to Ami-chan.” She walks off,
but Mamoru is leaning against a bush (?) and looks back up.
In the Dark
Kingdom, Queen Beryl steps forward, “Kunzite!
What is your plan to kill the Sailor Soldiers?”
“I’ll change Sailor Moon into a youma and I’ll get her energy.
However, she is resisting. I’ll
go to her and I’ll finish.” Kunzite
flips his cape and walks off. Nephrite
was there, but he didn’t do anything.
Ami awakens to an
alarm going off, it’s still night. She
looks over to see a HUGE friggin’ “WARNING!” on the computer, which is
flashing red. She turns over to
Usagi and sees Usagi’s eyes flap open.
Her eyes glow purple, and Ami screams her name.
She raises her hand and becomes the youma from Act.13 for a second.
Ami’s head pops up from the dream, gasping.
She looks over to see Usagi is fine.
Luna comes over, “Ami-chan, I feel the enemy is near.”
She looks over at the computer and Usagi’s temperature is falling
again. Usagi is engulfed in a
blue aura and her breaths are visible. “Usagi-chan!”
Rei’s flame
begins to flicker and she senses trouble, “Usagi!”
A wind fills
Ami’s room and is followed by black rose petals.
Ami holds herself voer Usagi, but the winds pulls her off and the
petals swarm around Usagi. “Wake
up, Sailor Moon!” Kunzite’s voice commands.
Petals stick to Usagi’s body all over and she disappears. “Usagi-chan!” Ami yells as she runs back to the bed.
She runs out of the building passing Mamoru who is startled by her,
“No way!” Am I runs down the
street and shouts, “Mercury Power!” Her bracelet lights up, then she shouts, “Make-up!!” and
becomes Sailor Mercury in a flash. “I’ll
surely save Usagi-chan!” She
then leaps tall buildings in a single bound [each].
Commercials suck.
Usagi lies in a
cave, dressed in white. Kunzite
hovers around her, “You are a Sailor Soldier because you keep resisting me.
But that will end, right now!” He
holds his arms out to her, “You should be my child and serve the great
evil!” His eyes widen and the
jewel on his forehead shines purple. Usagi’s
head pulls back and the tattoo shines. Her
fingernails have grown much longer now and continue.
As Kunzite works on Usagi, she cringes and he holds an evil smile.
“Stop right there!” Mercury shouts and her transformation music
plays. “Return Usagi-chan!”
“I will after she becomes a youma,” Kunzite says putting his hand
on he hip. “Mercury Aqua Mist!” Mercury yells as Kuzite pulls his sword out and absorbs the attack.
Mercury gasps and Kunzite unsheathes his sword.
He chops the air at her and she is thrown against the ground.
He swipes at her again and she rolls on the ground.
She slowly gets back with dirt all over herself.
Kunzite swipes again and knocks her against a wall.
“Are you done?” he says.

He walks up to her
as she clenches her fist in the dirt. Mercury
turns to notice water dripping on the wall, and then nods to it.
Kunzite continues toward her, “Please help me water!” she thinks.
“Sailor Soldiers are so weak,” Kunzite says as she proceeds to chop
Mercury in half, but Mercury blocks with a short sword made of water.
She spins him off, and the sword drips away.
She turns to him panting, “Return Usagi-chan!!”
“Ooo!” Kunzite says, but then is startled as Mars and Jupiter
cartwheel their way into the scene. They
gather around Mercury, “Am-chan…” “…
Are you okay?” “Yes!” The
two who have just arrived start to attack, “Supreme…”
“Akuyrou…” “Thunder/Taisan!!”
Kunzite absorbs the attacks ad shocks the girls.
He energizes his sword, then swipes it at the girls.
They twirl and fall to the ground.
“You should wait quietly,” Kunzite says, then turns to Usagi.
“The first enemy of Sailor Moon…
Is you girls.” He waves
his sword over Usagi, “Wake up, Sailor Moon!”
The tattoo flashes and her fingernails grow longer and become golden.
“Don’t!” Mercury shouts. “Usagi!”
Makoto shouts. Usagi’s eyes
open and glow purple. “Stop!”
Mars shouts. Usagi smiles evilly. “Usagi-chan!
STOP!!” Mercury yells. Usagi
begins to turn into a youma like Act.13’s.
Mercury’s facial expression becomes that of shock.
Usagi is glowing a bright gold as she transforms.
Kunzite smiles. Mercury
begins to cry. She remembers all
those good moments she’s had with Usagi since they’ve met and how much of
a good person she is. “Usagi-chan…
Usagi-chan! Usagi-chan!!”
“Shut up!” Usagi screams [back?].
Mercury is shocked. Usagi
gets up and yawns. “What?!”
Kunzite says with a funny face. “Huh?”
Usagi says, “What is this place?” She
examines her dress, looks about, and sees Kunzite, “No way, the enemy!”
“Usagi-chan!”
Mercury smiles. “Usagi,
transform!” Mars says.
She nods, “Moon Prism Power! Make-up!!”
She transforms, “A beautiful girl soldier in a sailor suit of love
and justice, Sailor Moon! In the
name of the moon, I’ll punish you!”
“No way!
Why?!” Kunzite says. He
raises his sword and goes to slash at Sailor Moon, but Tuxedo Mask stops him.
“Tuxedo Mask!” Moon yells. “You
can’t stop me,” Kunzite says. They
turn, “Shin really has disappeared…”
“Such a boy didn't exist from the beginning!”
He pushes Tux back and he shouts to Moon, “Do it now!”
She nods and holds up the Moonlight Stick, “Moon Twilight Flash!”
Kunzite blocks the attack and spins into a disappearance.
Moon looks at Tux and he nods with a smile. Moon smiles back. She
runs over to the others, “Are you all okay?”
They nod while standing. Ami
looks at Moon, “Usagi-chan, I’m glad you’re alright.” She smiles back, “Ami-chan!”
Everyone smiles, then Moon says, “Your face is dirty!” and she
proceeds to wipe the stuff off. Everyone
laughs while Tuxedo Mask smiles cutely and goes off.
The girls are
walking somewhere and Usagi yawns. “Well,
how did Usagi wake up?” Makoto wonders.
“Usagi, don’t you remember anything?” Rei asks.
She turns to them, “Uh, yeah, everyone called to me and it was noisy
so I woke up!” she turns back
around. “Everyone?
As in us?” Makot says. Usagi
turns around to them again. “Yeah,
especially Ami-chan’s voice which was the loudest!”
Ami’s eyes widen. She
then smiles. Usagi smiles, too. “Everyone
was sooo loud!” “Everyone’s
feelings,” Luna says, “reached Usagi!”
“I hope so!” Makoto says, “Anyway, we’re glad!”
Usagi smiles and nods, “Thank you everyone!”
Ami, Rei, and Makot each smile. “Ah! I haven’t finished with winter vacation’s homework!!”
Usagi screams, “Please help me!” “No,”
Rei says. “Please help me,
please, please, please!” “Escape!”
Makoto says as the three run from Usagi who is about to fall over. The moon cycle closes this episode.

Next time, on Power
Rangers! I mean, Sailor Moon…
Some guy in glasses
yells at Usagi, “Thief!” She’s
wearing a motorcycle helmet, “No, you are!”
“Follow her!”
“Wait!” Mamoru
shouts, grabbing Usagi’s arm as she runs, “What are you going to do?”
“I tried to recover the jewels and return them to Minako—,” she
is cut off. “Are you
stupid?!” “Why?!”
“That’s
impossible,” Mamoru says. “I
will recover them myself!” Usagi says.
“How?” “Of course
I’ll change into Sailor Moon!”
Usagi is on the
ground in a dark place and Mamoru skids in front of her on his motorcycle,
“Usagi, get on!” “Huh?”
A youma pulls a sword and Mamoru runs up to it, “Usagi!”
He grabs the youma’s arm. Usagi
gasps. Mamoru
is thrown against a railing, ow! The
youma sends him over the railing, he hits the ground with a thud, and then the
youma leaves. Usagi comes up to
the railing in shock.

This is yesterday's update
January 10th, 2004 - 12:20 am
I've got a piece of great news for fans of the live action
series. If you've been playing close attention to our forums this may be
old hat already, but we've got confirmation from the source now. It seems
that the series will last to around 52 episodes. (A full year.) Credit for
the initial notice goes to Obsessive
Touga Fan while credit for the confirmation goes to Alycia. If you
check the Toei
page you'll find a latest message box. Toward the bottom, in Japanese, is
written:
Thank you for the countless messages of support. We've received many from overseas as well, and for some reason, recently there's an explosion of fan letters from Australia. In America, Asia, and various other countries the reaction has been strong.
We've received many messages like, "I'm a fan of Shibue Jyoji! Will you please broadcast this series in my country as well?" What in the world is going on??
Alycia is the one quoted in the text there and is Australian so I guess
that's their Australian 'explosion.' Right below there you'll find a link to an English-text mini-FAQ which
states that the show is planned for around 50 episodes.
They don't know the episode count for sure yet because it could always be extended or cut
short depending on how toy sales and such do.
So it looks like we'll be at this through next fall. Whew!
